So is noone gonna talk about how POPCAP, the creators of a game FRY EM UP HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR LIKE 7 YEARS, couldn't care about em but NINJAKIWI, a company who made a game fry em up didn't even touch, still respected him and gave him early access?

I'm so amazed and happy they gave him early access. NinjaKiwi probably when making this game looked at other card games like PVZ heros, and stumbled upon his channel.
Not trying to spoil the mood or anything, but you could get the early access by just filling out a google form from like a week ago, like around 2000 people have it
With that said, ninja kiwi *is* great. They listen to the players and actually update their games

Red bloon aggro being super good reminds me of how puff shroom aggro was so good in early PvZHeroes that the entire block system was modified to counter it.

@@yes3410 Pineclone + Molekale were very overpowered back in the day when galactic package was released. The only main counter was weed spray of course.

I saw a Bloonstuber playing this, but its super cool that your vcg street credit is heigh enough to get this, despite you having little to do with bloons before.

I think a very cool balance change for the banana farm would be to make it take up 2 spots on your field, matching how it has a big footprint in btd games

Decided to rewatch these videos while waiting for the next beta, I noticed at 40:48 you got the double-turn glitch without even noticing (the opponent doesn't play anything, and even the dart monkey doesn't reload, but your bloons advance twice and the opponent gets 2 storm bloons). When that glitch happened in your gwen control stream, I thought it was a weird netcode-related bug, but it seems to be something else since this happened offline.
I've always been a huge fan of yours as well as the BTD franchise, when this game was announced I immediately thought of Fry Em Up lol
I seriously can't wait untill the game actually comes out, there are SOOO many different card ideas I have for existing things in btd6. Most of the monkey cards are based of a few upgrades of ONE tower out of the 23 or so towers in btd6, and it will be interesting to see if they add boss bloons or paragon towers.
I wish games like these would have graveyard and discard mechanics. It add so much possibility for card abilities and deck archetypes.
this could be fun but it also might add a level of complication to a so far simple game. there's something beautiful about the simplicity of just dealing with what's in your hand and on the board.

I haven't touched Bloons since BTD3 on browser as a kid, so I would have had no idea this game existed without Ninjakiwi reaching out to Fry, honestly such a smart marketing move. This game looks great, will definitely give it a try, especially since PvZ Heroes has been basically dead for years now.

This game's going to be crazy when the full thing comes out. When you can get your own cards and make your own decks, the UI is updated, there are more heroes (maybe some offensive bloon heroes), and more maps are added. I can't wait! :)

Honestly this seems like a really interesting card game, like one of the things that made me interested in PVZ Heroes originally was the fact it was like the OG game, but in a card form, so this seems pretty cool.
No, I think it’s a bad card game because you can’t add zombot to the deck

Fry...i think you don't have any idea how famous are you. I'm on the PvZH and BTD6 reddit servers. And I love that you are in both places with this video. On the PvZH reddit page, they're talking about how happy they are that you're playing this game. BTD6 fans will know all the memes and phrases you've created. They even know the Starch Lord copypasta too. The "We need a leap" meme. I also saw a Bloon Moon Rising meme.
Or the other is that I'm in the PvZH fangame creator's DC server and there isn't a single person there who doesn't know who you are. 🦎

The "This is fresh, I've never seen a game split cards into offensive snd deffensive ect. bit made me instantly think of slay the spire where you have attacks, skills, and powers. This game seems to have even stolen sts's nice visual cue of card art borders signaling the type that the card is
i think saying The way offense and defense are balanced in this game is "stolen" is really unfair. it's very very different from slay the spire mechanically.

Game mechanics are already amazing. Also I think the bloon storm exists to make the game go by faster as it sends the same bloons to both sides
This begs the question, why do tower defense games with unique settings/art make such good card games as well!?
maybe because it forces innovation, since you have two sides that can't fight against each other.
