I used this product and got almost identical results after after 40 minutes, some parts of my hair barely lifted while others turned blonde fairly quickly.
Peekaboo blonde highlights would go so well with your new growth & brown color. I *never* dye dirty hair. I always wash out all product residue so the dye can do its best job.

No you did not follow directions, if you sectioned your hair properly especially do to your hair being thick you would have achieved your goal and again your first mistake was not reading and following directions in the package, it's not the product I have used Creme Of Nature Light Blonde on many people with thick hair and it turned out beautiful, and I don't sponsor Creme Of Nature I just love the product, and it doesn't take 2hours to achieve the color it's a blessing your hair did not come out in clumps
