The way Dom described T1 fans felt like there were only two extremes. I think most T1 fans would be in the middle ground, like me. I think there's nothing wrong with being positive about my favorite team even though they're doing poorly. What kind of fan would I be if I don't support them when they suck? Me, I was just glad they got to Worlds and as unlikely as it was, I rooted for them to win. So, when they actually won, it was like the faithful being rewarded. However, I don't appreciate T1 fans as a whole being insulted just because of this one portion of the playerbase.
Do these people not realise that by calling T1 the best team of the year they're actually devaluing the worlds performance. How hype is it when the clear favourite just wins, over a team that's looked shakey but manages to clutch it out when it matters most?
Sometimes i see a few tweets from the t1 bubble and its just genuinely so weird. They would break down faker taking a shit and how much toilet paper he used if they got the chance to
Hold on, I thought we have a problem of teams making a profit, isn't the reason T1 being profitable is them having a dedicated fanbase. The moment YOU got a taste of toxicity even tho let's ignore all the thumbnail you did for T1, it's T1 fans that are a problem?. Yes I get the extra creepiness and kpop culture added but I don't think T1 or any org would trade that as long as they get a profit from all of this. This is like mondays in Football, Heung Min Son has that type of culture within the prem, Pretty much every team in the prem has that culture, it's them having dedicated fans that gives them profit even if they perform for like a few weeks. This is why I don't understand IWD's opinion about this, it just sounds like there's no actual fans that League has and we are always making an effort into stopping our sport in making it an actual sport. There will be toxic and creepy fans across all medium. Why is T1 being scapegoated when they are the one of the orgs that are turning dedication from fans to actual profit in this scene. No wonder we are making no progress, IWD keeping the dedication to more toxicity rather than giving more to this community.
I mean if you want the future of worlds to look like an average eastern European football match, then sure, cause that's where we're heading if we're just letting ultras be.
@Meander_ I get it the ultras and the crazy fans and how they can go far and threaten others. But do you think any other org would not want a fanbase that guarantee them money? I'm just saying, not a lotta org can shape their own especially in esports to turn their team profitable, the only one that comes close to this dedication are fans of EDG, G2, KC, and KOI. I'm actually glad that T1 has made the team profitable and yeah I hate the crazy fans but what can we do? I don't want this sport to die just cuz some idiots on the internet can't handle ultras even tho it's the one that turns profits for the orgs.
@@andrerocka8135 that's normal in sports jesus. Have anyone seen how people glaze CR7, Messi, Haaland and Heung Min Son. Like I said I get it, it is frustrating dealing with this kind of fans but I don't think org will give it up for a chance to have the same profitability as sports teams. It just looks like you guys haven't touched grass to see this is what sports is.
U can't tell me Dom is not intentionally trying to ragebait himself. Why would he lurk t1 fans prof? they crazy by default but it looks more like Dom is fishing for a story or a documentary on how t1 wildlife is.
Let's keep ignoring that the guys don't have a normal life, they spend more time outside league of legends doing PR or other shit like that than any other team. And the only time they actually are in the game grinding and training the new meta they get DDoS, and not a single other team in the entire region get the same treatment while still competing for the same porpouse. Guess when they won? The 4-5 weeks where they had 0 DDoS and little to none PR with some clips of the team members shooted within one day or two (since all the line are voice over and dubbed later as the team either progress or not trough the tournament).
I don't mind the "kpopification" as long as it doesn't get toxic (for example going on a riot if one of the team members ever gets a girlfriend or something similar) and obviously death threats etc are a no go and should absolutely be condemned. But the kpop thing might just be cultural and while I don't really get the appeal, that's also part of how LCK and LPL team manage to function financially thanks to dedicated fans. That said, as someone who considers myself a KC fan (but not much beyond that) I'm disappointed that a few idiots are ruining the reputation of an org and its founders whose story should be saluted. Especially since the issue often comes from out of context clips thrown randomly on Twitter in order to rile up part of the community that doesn't speak english with a biased caption making them easy to manipulate. As could be seen with the Caedrel drama which came from a lack of understanding of french on his part which made him mistake a joking tweet for one with serious intentions and that led to part of the community immediately taking his comment on it the wrong way. I think the language barrier explains a lot of the recent dramas whether for KC but also MDK and maybe even T1, jokes don't really translate so all that gets kept is the seemingly negative stuff and since those 2 universes (english speaking streamer and non-english speaking community) don't usually interact with each other, the only time they seem to be meeting is over some kind of controversy which is disappointing. Going back to KC, some fans seem to want to make all the stuff that happened incentive for a "us against the whole world" mindset and want to boo (I could get it in a close final against MDK who are the rivals for example but not in a showmatch against T1) everyone that said anything barely critical against them or any element of the org and I was kinda hoping the event wouldn't be spoiled by having LR be heavily booed. The whole situation with Baus is also quite annoying because while I thought his comment was harsh, I also believe trashtalk is part of the game but it should be kept between the players, orgs and staffs and using it as a reason to go send him threatening tweets to "defend Targamas" is awful especially since some of the ppl involved were probably saying similar stuff when we finished bottom 10 in the LEC 2 splits in a row so they can't now try to act as his guardians(granted he was overall quite supported by the fans despite the disappointing results) But to be fair, that's to be expected from any structure that draws such big crowds, to take an example from traditional sports there are more toxic fans of the Lakers than of the Hornets, same for Arsenal fans compared to Fulham, that's just the way it works. And even if the faces of the orgs(like Kameto or Ibai) consistently ask for the community to have good behavior, you always get those low iqs who think that they're just being nice as a facade but actually want them to continue and so double down on the toxic attitude
I think some ill behavior in a public setting needs to be shamed but I don't think you should give them the publicity in this case. Its going to have the same effect of weaponizing your fans against people which is the bullshit I wish T1 org could rise above.
I think why T1 ignore/condone this behavior is because those are the only types of fans willing to spend money with merch and fan membership and all that.
You see this in all traditional sports as well too. I like T1 but to say that they deserve to win everything because of a month a half of success is insane. Just take the good for what it is and be honest about whatever team you support. The reason we watch this stuff is to have fun
@@zoid_on_youtube ok and? It's a different brand of insanity. KC, mad or fnc fans are the ones that resemble sportsball fans. T1 fanbase is different.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being a fan like that.
Of course, I do understand that there are truly delusional T1 fans who are very parasocial and that's definitely an issue.
However, I don't appreciate T1 fans as a whole being insulted just because of this one portion of the playerbase.
Do these people not realise that by calling T1 the best team of the year they're actually devaluing the worlds performance. How hype is it when the clear favourite just wins, over a team that's looked shakey but manages to clutch it out when it matters most?
holy shit there must be nothing to react to these days if Dom is STILL talking about this
Its off-season what do you expect
Idole culture promoted by t1 and its fanbase are both cringe and toxic.
Those people are pathetic and the recent drama with caedrel shows it.
After the pyjama incident yea there is no credibility in that.
In the west these people would be called Parasocial Schizos
The whole situation with Baus is also quite annoying because while I thought his comment was harsh, I also believe trashtalk is part of the game but it should be kept between the players, orgs and staffs and using it as a reason to go send him threatening tweets to "defend Targamas" is awful especially since some of the ppl involved were probably saying similar stuff when we finished bottom 10 in the LEC 2 splits in a row so they can't now try to act as his guardians(granted he was overall quite supported by the fans despite the disappointing results)
But to be fair, that's to be expected from any structure that draws such big crowds, to take an example from traditional sports there are more toxic fans of the Lakers than of the Hornets, same for Arsenal fans compared to Fulham, that's just the way it works.
And even if the faces of the orgs(like Kameto or Ibai) consistently ask for the community to have good behavior, you always get those low iqs who think that they're just being nice as a facade but actually want them to continue and so double down on the toxic attitude
I'm tired hearing about this from dom, just ignore these accounts and move on
The delusional portion of T1 fans also happens to be part of the delusional portion of K-pop fans, go figure.
T1 fans thinks world revolves around them lmfao
T1 haters assemble once more😄😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣
iunno whats goona be better Chuck v Saul from BCS or Caedrel v t1 and KC feat IWD
Actually you rarely see this variety of insanity in traditional sports. That type of behaviour is most typical of idol culture.
@@vyyr there are literal murders over sports, and its not that rare
@@zoid_on_youtube ok and? It's a different brand of insanity. KC, mad or fnc fans are the ones that resemble sportsball fans. T1 fanbase is different.
lol there is no kpop shit in regular sports
I don't like when people don't understand other culture. You can have your beliefs like Kpop Idol Culture is weird and icky, but labeling people as mentally ill is a line crossing. Then saying you're going to take time out of your day, stalk someone who's blocked you, and make a hate filled rant video to point out weird T1 fans like most of your persona isn't just hating T1, because of their fans, (Dom Voice) Idk Man, seems kinda weird.
aren't 80% of their fans girls basically? like its less about the sport and more just kpop to them probably. not to make it a gender thing, just mentality wise
Dom are just mad T1 are diffing the chinese😂😂
he is not wrong t1 fans are insane
Dom this is literally how kpop fans are like this is not different from any other korean fandoms at all?
true but it is kind of weird that they made T1 (an esports team out of all things xD) into a kpop group. haven't seen any other esports group being turned into kpop and having those types of fans in EU and US
@@KristinaBlablaI think it's probably because of t1's popularity in sk, and because t1 chose to market to kpop fans to be profitable
@@alternateegoooooo i get singers, actors, tv casters etc. but an esports team out of all things? it's just weird 😂i understand why they did it, just find it very funny and/or annoying (depending on the day) xD
@@KristinaBlabla You get singers actors, tv castors etc. Then you should also understand Faker as he is more popular than most singers, actors, tv castors etc. I dont think western fans truely realize how big faker is in Korea. He is part of the big 3 of korea alongside BTS and Heung-min Son.
@@MultiKillerface i get how big faker is but you can be famous and have ton of fans without being k-pop idolized. and i find it strange they've transformed an esports team into a k-pop group, even though i understand they did it for money, that doesn't make it any less weird.
This is some idol culture shit
Wtf, what happened. Im a T1 fan but why is there drama?
I love T1 since they're the most entertaining team and their variety streams are fun to watch, but some of the K-pop like fans that ship the players are high-key cringe lmao xD
I like t1 cause they’re fun to watch, just wish the t1 fan base was sane
dom cant accept lck dominance in lol and he is one of the toxic t1 hater
BTS fanatics vs T1 fanatics 😂
ngl dude also went mentally ill finding the ill once, just listening to him feels like listening to someone ill.
kpop fans combined with real madrid fans
bro this peoples have no life , its kinda sad ngl
Dom I luh u cuh
This made me laugh :D I would rather have KC fans than T1 thats for sure
T1 fans make me sick
i've blocked so many of them now i get the posts of politics and of in for you page ,life is good
Is little bro going to talk about T1 fans for the rest of his life? Its not that deep kid.
there is some truth in what dom said, but a lot of times those animal emojis are used just to not write the player name every time... I agree with him that a lot of accounts idealize the interactions between team members idk why. this behaviour isnt something that horrendous like dom is saying tho.
It's so weird to see them ships actual pros like it's some show or fiction series
That's so disrespectful to see them in that way, feels like they never see them for their skills as pros rather just famous korean celebs, T1 is to blame too for this
the thing is youre just NA retrded bro , dont comment bs
Ayo I'm a T1 fan, why am I catching strays bro? lol
these are probably just teenage girls and dom has decided to go to war with them lmao
Mental exploded watching T1 win twice
I always feel like every T1 fan has the potential be a stalker. Like you can't be a real T1 fan if you're not batshit insane
I was watching this to hate IWD but him knowing about the animal per member and the alternate got me laughing XD IWD just admit it you are one of the kpop t1 fans. I didn't even know that those are called spirit animals. I just thought it was to shorten the trans HAHA!!
why dont we just collectively ignore all of them?
Probably a lot of fans of T1 are just guys that dont even go outside of their houses, i like t1 and i consider myself a fan, i want them to win but thats all, spending all your day in twitter arguing with people that thinks different than you is just a mentally ill
LoL
Uhh do we not seen the fans in the stadium? Not the sharpest tool in the shed I take it.
😂😂😂 the title, 😂😂😂😂 his infiltration and code names of t1 players… 😭😭what is this vid
“i still have to do more research on this”😂😂😂😭😭😭 nooooo
rocky year is so disengenous lmao they had 1 rocky end of a season thats it
Your whole comment is disingenuous when you take into account the other teams and players that T1 were up against for these awards
@@BigBigBigJefflol. The jealousy is insane
@@Ffoo_ffighterthat's not jealousy. It's just the truth.
@derekmarshman6154 nope. No one had a year like Faker. At 28, with one arm, ddos'ed all year. And to carry his team to a world championship, 2 years in a roll, made worlds finals 3 years in a roll. Funny how it's only western fans that hate T1.
Name another player that did that.
@derekmarshman6154 that's called jealousy. Real men either figure out a way to win or accept the loss.
Dom is obsessed with T1 fans just as much just as much as they ae about T1, bro can't go 1 hour of a stream without mentioning something related to them or the organization.
It’s like going to a zoo and seeing wild animals, these Stan accounts r just very funny to look at
Look at your UA-cam account created specifically with Dom’s likeness to bolster T1 & bring down Dom.
No other fan base does this. You’re mentally ill, find help. This isn’t some cute hobby you have, it’s deranged and I hope you can find the strength to find comfort & purpose with another outlet. You need one. We all do.
I mean he did say in the beginning that he was mentally insane for checking in on them.
Typical DOM paranoia.
Twitter is the DOM's and his fans' entire world.
the irony...
