I’m a tcg player at heart so when I saw the card system I’d only pickup the large card selects from Mari. Still really early for NA but I know it’s an hidden importance
I'm of a similar mindset, especially since I heard how some groups in kr screen for certain cards.

He is talking about the "select a legendary card" not the "get a random legendary card packs"
In my server we have a discord where people post when they find traveling merchant, and which card he has .. to get and farm those cards you kinda should try and find one for your server too, ask area chat.

Why is forest of giants needed on a mayhem zerker. Even if using cursed doll it seems useless. -25% from 30 (hp potion) is 7.5% that leaves you with the hp potion healing for 22.5% say in the end end game you have 41k hp as mayhem zerker that leaves you at 1025 hp. You are using a potion before 1025 health anyways. If you want more survivability just use the 6 piece set of nature's elementals for 24% damage reduction. Can run this set all the way until you get light of salvation functioning. Or even until you get lost wind up and running.
This is what I do.
Using both the Elemental set and another 3-piece for extreme amounts of damage reduction.
I think most people, including myself, will never finish LoS 18 or 30. I'm almost done with 12 LWC and that'll probably all I ever need/get. LoS 18 or 30 would take 2 years? No idea if I'd even still play then, because to be honest, the more I play the more it appears that Lost Ark is the ultimate multiplayer singleplayer game. I rarely play with my friends, because we're at different GS or play at different times. The only thing we somewhat wait for one another is T3 Abyss Dungeons, and then we play together for 15 minutes, great. But I feel like mostly, it's just singleplayer homework.
dito. Was surprised, that different GS down to 20 can be already to much in order to play together, if you want the next higher dungeon to get cleared etc. It's often down to Abyss Dungeons or some activities like the Grand Prix.

16 months post launch and I am 21 cards from lostwin cliff (main support) and 24 for finishing los. 11 selector packs in the bank.
I have not opened any of my card packs because I don't have enough space to hold them all. I'm planning on open my 200+ card packs that i have in my storage when I get around 200 storage to hold all the cards.
So based on video a db/wardancer shoul focus on light salvation. Or db jus go for the back attack?
If it takes a long time for Light of Salvation 18 set to complete, wouldn't be ok to use 1-2 legend select pack for Lostwind Cliff to complete it for use as a placeholder? Assuming there are 1-2 cards left to complete Lostwind Cliff.

He literally says in the video that it was a big mistake that he did exactly that. Selection packs are very rare and you should not waste them on this set, as its very easy to get the 12 piece.
The point he makes is that RNG can give you literally too many dupes, and if you used the selector to get the card which then you get many dupes of -> you've wasted the selector.
He says in the video that it's a mistake, but I feel he's mistaken in saying that.
If you can use the cards to complete the 12 awakening, then yes I think you should. 6+ months of farming for Salvation is a freaken long ass time. There's no point in using the selection cards early though, so RNG might be in your favor and you might get them while you're farming.
Hi ATK do you know if specific abyssal dungeons drop specific legendary cards? For example can you only get Nineveh card from abyssal dungeon 960 and upwards? Or can you get nineveh card from 340 abyssal dungeon. Thank you!
This is literally the most important thing. Fact being that you will need that last card to complete your end game set.

What's your take on the card selection if I'm a pure support-player (bard) ?
I honestly don't have any plans on playing a DPS class, so I feel that Light Of Salvation card-deck won't do me any good even in the long run.
The game is constantly releasing content though. I'm pretty sure we'll get new cards down the road... So keep saving maybe?
End game support class would be the Lostwind Cliff set, I believe. The 30-awakening synergizes with the LoS set by increases party Holy damage.
That said, you'll probably just be using the Field boss set for a long time so there's no harm in saving the card pack
as stated in the video, cards are a loooong term investment, and even tho card exp are rare u can def lvl up more then one deck. so if u are playing full supp, invest on the support card set that u get. the ones with hp% are great because the shields from paladin and bard aswell i believe, are based on ur hp. so the higher ur hp, the better shields u give, specially for paladin that he converts his shield in healing
if you're pure support, I'd never open the select pack until your opnion changes, because till this day most people stil uses the 12% HP set.
I have been considering going for the Lost Windcliff (longterm) since my friend who got me to play with him is aiming for Light of Salvation. But 30 awakening will be rough!
Well.. You're right, but realistically the best I'm gonna get is lostwind 12. I'm not gonna spend on mari's cards so my odds of ever completing light of salvation 18 are pretty slim, let alone 30.
ye thats exactly how i feel i need a card set that progresses as fast as our european version will and i doubt anyone will be able to finish light of salvation for our endgame content if its comin out in just a year XD
you can delete cards and keep the passive stats they only get removed from the card tab and the tab where you can equip them
Too many people in NA are concerned about the RIGHT NOW. I hope people don't go too crazy trying to get the bis card set. NA players have trouble with content that requires more than a month or two, because all our games are designed around 3-6 month cycles of content "resetting" when a new raid comes out. Hopefully people will start to understand that cards are a marathon
Now tell that to Amazon, they’re the one pushing out new contents in a rushed way making a “pseudo” urgency for people frustrating them to do everything in a sprint, not a marathon

I wanted to ask, The Three Umar brother card set, gives %12 back attack when maxed out. I have the basic cards need to awaken them. Is it worth to use the selection card for galatur ? Seems like this set is great for Striker(main)/Wardancer(main alt)
could, but I would still save it until you are 100% sure you need them. Becasue you also need fate of the lazeniths which also has a legendary.
realistically speaking, the BiS card set is for the 0,1% of people who play hardcore everyday for years AND swipe a lot. I'd say for the vast majority of people it is worth using it for the lost wind cliff set
Hmm I can see your point there, I'll probably be playing hardcore but unable to swipe. Can someone please tell me how many legendary cards we need in total for 30 set awakening light of salvation? I don't fully understand the awakening process would very much appreciate ty.
Awakening works like that. You get your first card. You add it to the deck, then lets say you loot first duplicate of mentioned card, that is the moment when you can awaken your card for first time. For second time you will need two duplicates. For third, three and so on. So the most efficient way is to spread upgrading on all cards in the deck and keep them lowest level possible.
@@guyston684 You need 16 copies of a card to get it to 5-awaken. So for 30-set you need 16 copies of each.
People only use the lost wind set for the crit if they are dps, so technically u don't really need thay much. For the sp case as he said in the vids until there are people with bis dps card it's pretty much a waste of resources.

Great video! How to farm Wili-Wili? How ofter does it spawn? Is the spawn fixed like big field bosses so i can do it only at some fixed hours?
Those type of field boss is a spawn after kill, so ppl share info that theyre dead and ppl wait 1-2 hrs at worst

Think logically which one has higher uptime? You can't think of Ambush master as a flat buff because it is conditional.
Hey ATK is it true that you can do multiple chaos runs a day and even tho you dont get loot from more than 1 a day all the other runs you do still count for the kharmine achievement?

Yes all chaos gates you do count for the achievement as long as you finish them. It doesn´t matter if you get loot or not, i´ve done it myself.

yeah you can run multiple chaos gate per day, I did that for my last 3 runs. Most don't do it becuase it's a waste of time, but my case was unique (was one off from 30 with kharmine)

I still dont get what card exp or upgrading cards is.
I'll still use my Legendary Card Selector for Lostwind. I'm only missing Delaine Kharmine to finish my set and get +7% crit rate on all my Characters. I'd have to wait 4-5 more months grinding Chaos Gates every day they're up just to reach the achievement to get this card. And I'm still 16 legendary cards away from the 18 Salvation set. So why wait 8 months to get the salvation set or why wait 4 months to finish the Lostwind, if i can just boost all my DPS right now?

May I suggest a middle route? Wait at least until the Grand Prix event is over, you got a couple of guaranteed legendary there and it is a decent chance to get what you need that way. If you dont, then you use the card selector.

Here's what he means: Save your card SELECT packs. What you're referring to (I think) is the card pack that has a random chance of any one card from that rarity. The Select packs differ from those, by giving you the option to pick a specific card at that rarity.
In other words, he's saying save the ability to choose your reward until you're finalizing a specific set, where you need 16 of the same card to fully awaken it

I was told dps classes should go for the card set that gives that 7% crit. It was shown in this vid, the one that contains light & dark armen, kharmine, king thirain etc.
Dont know about the rest or I meant to say dont care about the rest.
@@buramukim4241 This is not a generalized solution. 7% crit is neat, but it's not the best for all classes.
Some classes like Shadowhunter, Deadeye, Scrapper, Deathblade (etc.: back-attackers) get more out of the back-attack bonus. In t3 you should have stats focusing on decent amount of crit, not needing the 7% desperately.
Also for example Deadeye has only one class engraving that is being used - Enhanced Weapon. (Pretty much no one uses Pistoleer. Except maybe in KR, since it got balanced and has some viability, but nowhere near Enhanced Weapon) Enhanced Weapon already gives huge crit buff just for swapping weapons. Also Specialization gives huge crit damage, meaning you don't want necessarily more Crit as you're not going to have that much Crit that 7% will make a huge difference.

i seen some people do the other even when they had both, it's preference. However it seems too far away so keeping those select packs safe is important

For people that are saying, "Oh, I'm just gonna open the card pack for the Lostwind Cliff pack. I'm just missing ____ legendary card to activate the effect anyway," please don't.
Chances are, you do not have max awakenings on Solar or Seria yet anyway and the set isn't worth it until you have the 12-piece awakening. Refrain from opening the pack until you have everything in place already and are maybe missing 1 last awakening if you really must open a pack. You never know what's going to happen while you gather Seria and Solas. Maybe you'll get lucky and receive the card you're looking for during the wait.
Seria is pretty straightforward to max, but I feel that a lot of people are misunderstanding the fact that "Solas is farmable". A single copy of him should take around 4 hours of full focus and boring gameplay, meaning you might need to waste (literally waste since you delete the character after) up to 60 hours of your life to max awaken him.

Yes, but not with the Selection Pack... You can get 10/12 for free (with time), and getting another 2 requires you to get 1 duplicate for 2 other cards in the set.
It’s because this set is relatively easy to farm compared to the light of salvation. You can get seria cards from wandering merchants, and solus cards from rerunning the story . This gives you 10 awakening and getting two duplicates legendary is much easier than 42.

Gunlancer is a dps so dps cards are better. But in the meantime use anything its fine

Since you dont need more than 15 of each, if you finished one card, every time you get more of that card would be useless so you save those guarenteed picks from select packs

This will sound super salty but, Light of Salvation ( gives 8% Holy Dmg but its actualy 15%? Why 15 if it say 8%? And thats BiS for all dps classes? Why? Do all dps classes use holy dmg? Also, Lostwind gives personal and party again holy dmg 3%, why is that best support set? Isnt there something with heals or shield? I didn't understand jack shit in this video :)
light of salvation turns ur dmg to light -> light dmg 7% -> light dmg 8% so if your damage number shows 1000 on hit, final result will be 1000 * 1.15 = 1150, if support has 30 set in ur raid it would be 1000 * 1.185 = 1185
read again, it's stated it gives 7% at 18 awakening then 8% in 30 awakening. So basic math, 7+8 = 15.
Lostwind is for support since most of the dps use LoS which turns your dmg to holy like ATK mentioned.

Hey, in the english description of the "We'll meet again" card set it says you take 12% less damage from FOES below 50% hp, you said while YOU (the player) is below 50% hp, is it a error in english translation or something?
Its while you're under 50%

I don´t think saving for light of salvation 18 is always the right answer, not everyone is going to play lost ark for years. I think it´s ok to just use them on Lostwind cliff 12.
Those cards are much easier to get
Lostwind Cliff at 12 it's one of the easiest things to get. You're wasting months/years of grinding just because you want something now instead of farming it up a whole month.
Seria = Wandering Merchants, can use Saint-Bot Discord to help you on that since people are always helping with Legendary Rapports/Cards/Wei.
Solas = Need to level up till lv. 34 and complete Solas Quest to get the card 15 times, you can spam it (if you are in that mood) or do it progressively so you don't get burn out.
Kharmine = 100 Chaos Achievement / Armen = Awakening Quest / Thirain = North Vern Tome (easy to do)
Should a support awaken the field boss card since you say it's their second bis

i dont get this system, why am i supposed to collect cards, while not being able to trade them ... i dont want most of the cards, i just want my trixion at full awakening - i am 600 hrs in now and i just got one dupe ... i mean, i need 89 more then i got within the last 600 hrs .... i think this is the most shitty system i have ever seen in any MMO

I'm missing only the Delain Armen card to complete Lostwind Cliff set and activate 12 awakening bonus (almost done with the awakening grind).
Would you say it's worth to use one of those selection card packs to get Delain Armen and get 7% crit rate bonus? (I'm playing mostly DPS classes)
The only other reliable source of that card is getting 10 Ignea Tokens (10x zone with 100% advanture tome completion), but that seems like many months worth of rapport grinding. So it's really tempting.
I would recommend you to start buying rapport gifts and only use them for 1.5x the value. Maxing out 10 continents might look daunting at first but aside from arthetine (with Sasha) they are all doable. Don't waste your selection pack to finish the set, grinding out the legendary set will take much longer and you don't need an optimal card set right now.

ATK are you playing NA/EU too or only in Korea? I really like your videos, they are some of the best LA stuff I seen from any content creator. But I must admit that I'm feeling that Im gravitating away from videos that show korean gameplay. I don't know much about LA or how to have a YT channel, so take from it what you will. But I do genuinely believe we are going to see a segregation between korean and NA/EU content creators/audience as time passes.

You can use your regular legendary packs, if you get a "legendary select pack" its good to save them because you can choose one legendary card to recieve. Getting one guarenteed than relying on rng is really powerful

You have to remember that play this game IS LITTERALLY HIS JOB. So I'm not sure this advice applies to anyone not playing this game 12 hours a day or as their job.
lost ark is a prime example of a game where you hold on to items "for later" but later never comes cause either the game dies before or u quit

but the point about that set isn't just converting to holy, it converts to holy and increases holy damage, so it's a damage boost against any type of monster (of course, if the enemy is weak to holy, that's even better)

It's like trading cards irl - you can open packs and have fun right now, or keep them sealed forever for minmax/profit. Doing same stuff over and over again for daily rng wheel spin isn't fun, and I won't play LA long enough to benefit from your strat.
