A completely black and white show would fail in popularity. The black and white picture works just because there was a color picture before it. In addition, the creators very coolly draw light and reflections (in the first series they showed us), remove something from this and the show will already look different.

Aaaand 5 seconds into the show, it's official. The dub is far more accurate than these crappy subs. Or at least far less misleading.
It's not that he "Is" Ken takakura. It's his name, sure, but the subs make it sound like he is the guy she's interested in instead of coincidentally having the same name as the actor.
So many people are going to be horribly mislead by this. It's more than a little annoying.
It's cause these are RAW subs not actually proper subs...

First of I agree with what the other person said, raw subs or usually worst than proper subs. And second, it's obvious that it's not the same person. We already established in the 1 episode that Ken Takakura is a celebrity, even if you don't know who it is obvious from the girls talk that it's not a student and Ayase didn't even know Okarun before, so I don't get how it could be misleading.
@@evelina2619 I've seen a couple of different reaciton vids where people thought that Ken Takakura was referring to the same person. Which is dumb, yes, but dumber shit has happened in anime.
Heck, going along with how what makes sense can easily get lost - the last episodes subs made it look like Ken thought Momo was in love with him... when he thought she was into UFO's. Again, a lot of people reacting to it made this mistake, which goes against the fact that his self esteem is so low he thinks no one would even consider being his friend, much less attracted to him.
I'm sorry if I'm coming off as kind of agressive about this - this isn't a jab at anyone, and the fact that they're raw subs means they're lower in quality. Stuff like this is just something of a personal pet peeve of mine.

This guy Neel really is fake af.... look I love what you do but you deciding to stop doing anymore episodes for 86 anime & other animes for that matter just because it's not getting views is BS. I'm currently subscribed to another channel on Patreon and they just recently finished 86 and they are now posting it on UA-cam despite the fact that those videos only get like 1k views. It just doesn't look good for a creator to really think "Yeah i can't get a lot of views so i won't be able to make money off of this show, lets move on to a show with more traction for more $$". Like bro just stay true to the uploads for fans to enjoy, I'm sure when you do upload them the algorithm will reach others overtime. It's not the worst thing to do, I mean I'm sure you have Tik Tok getting lots of views and then let's not forget you make money off of Patreon already, so i just don't understand the rush to not finish these shows man. It Really seems like you are trying to do a "Get Rich Quick Scheme"....

Just go watch the shows yourself then. This is his job. Do you do work for your company for free and off the clock? He obviously doesn't want to just take unedited videos from patreon and upload here. It makes no sense to keep uploading a series if you lose money from it. And if it bothers you that much just subscribe to his patreon it's literally 5 dollars
It sucks when reactors drop the shows you enjoy, but that's like saying a medic to keep treating people while starving. Sure it's noble, but it won't pay the bills. UA-cam is Neel's job, not his hobby, so he can't afford posting stuff regardless of how bad it gets. "the algorithm will reach others overtime" there's no garantee of that and the worse his videos do, the more the algorithm will bury him. Even in real life similar things happen, artists die in poverty before "the algorithm" reaches the right people at the right time. It makes perfect sense to give priority to projects that will attract more attention if he does it now and then if he wants get back to other projects (and like he said, release it all in one video to smooth the negative impact)
