I feel like the guys have been experimenting a lot with their signature sounds, and they've defo had the lows, but this sounds like a fucking masterpiece to me. While the scene went crazy on neuro, they started doing their own experiments. Calyx & Teebee are geniuses, when it comes to sounds that rip your head off, but with your soul too.
I'll be honest, I was losing the love for C&T... then they go back to the old school with this track. Takes the best of their 'Shape of Things to Come' era and pumps it up another notch... echoing bongos and not a cheesy lyric in sight... nice.

I too am troubled by some elements in D'n'B I've heard of late. I've LIVED this shit since its very beginnings, and a lot of people who've come to it in the last few years clearly don't understand that like everything else it's cyclical, which means Liquid WILL die, Neuro WILL die, and other sub genres will replace them. The current vogue for vocal stuff has been cool, in that a lot of long time producers have had a good pay day off of it, but now is the time for a new direction....
