Sorry to hear about the few problems with your V100, hope that oil leak didn't keep it down for too long. As for mine (purchased July 20) I have done about 2400 kms so far and have no problems to report. The engine which was noticeably tight for the first 1000 kms or so has broken in nicely and is happy to rev and seems to run cooler as well. First service was done around 1600 kms and I supplied Motul 7100 synthetic oil for the dealer to use. Thanks for the tip about using the mode button to quickly get to the screen adjustment; I don't believe this feature is mentioned in the owner's manual.
I’m loving my V100. Done just over 2,000 miles. Fuel tank level sensor failed from new so judge my refills by the trip meter while Moto Guzzi are redesigning and remaking the fuel level sensors as I’m not the only one to have this issue. Other than that a great bike - happiest above 50mph and so well balanced

I’ve a v7 850 and have had both an eagle badge lift at the end and a v7 badge lift on the side pods. Both were replaced under warranty. Either Guzzi is using very old badges with very old tape, or they aren’t cleaning the surface properly before application.
NOT under the clear coat?? No wonder they are peeling off. I suspect the new ones will do the same thing. Big corner cutting by Guzzi there. Decals need to be under a clear coat if you want them to last. I'm sure Guzzi will get around to addressing this eventually, after they get sick of the warranty replacement claims!

Later models came with an improved gearbox output seal. Some of the early bikes had a weld on the swing arm that would fail. The fork springs were a bit on the strong side. It was 4 months I miscalculated. But as you have maybe noticed. I have a UA-cam channel with 3 personal bikes. and I also do test rides every week. next to a full time job. So there ar not many hours left in a day. But thanks for your question.
Hi, I’m thinking of purchasing this bike. All the reviews I’ve seen and read mention having issues with the quick shifter. Does it get any better or worse over time? Or has Moto Guzzi released an update to correct the issue? Thanks
I think it's not an issue at all. You do notice some clunkiness but that's mainly in lower revs. But I think it's not any better on a GS for example. For really good QS you need to go to KTM or Ducati.
Apart from the oil leak, the rest of the issues are minor even thought you get sort of disappointed for a premium bike which costs a fortune. Personally, I have a minor issue on the left flaps. Both the green and black stickers of the flap were not cut perfectly and you can see a small white line of the unpainted part of the sticker. Luckily it is so small you need to stare at them closely to see them. The mechanic said that this will be difficult to get a replacement free of charge since it was not submitted prior delivery to the owner. One last minor issue is the front right brake disc which has a slight slack when you force it left and right. The mechanic told me this is normal after several KM of use, floating brake discs tend to have some slack on the outer disc after some time, but since the bike is pretty new (had 725KM in 2 weeks!!) we sent a request to have it replaced under warranty. MG accepted the request and will have it replaced on the 1.5K KM service!! Till now the bike is working flawlessly and without issues, except from the brake disc.
It’s a shame. A new bike, in this day and age, should not be leaking oil. They’ve built variations of this motor for bloody years. You’d think they’d nail it now.
Hi. What isotta widnscreen do you have, medium or high? When the windscreen is deployed, what is the high from the display top edge to the windscreen top edge?
The requirement to take apart the whole bike to change an alternator gasket is enough to steer me away from this bike. I also understand that the engine and the transmission have to be separated to change a clutch or T/O bearing. Not very good engineering at all.
