    That opening was wild! “Hi, welcome to my studio” - then silently walking through the kitchen only to turn around and say, “so …. welcome”. Hahaha, pretty sure there should have been an edit there but I loved it! So freaky!!!!

    The isolation capability is amazing. 4 piece band tracking at the same time with almost no bleed, plus really close to each other 😮

    Hi Jacquire....what A/D conversion do you use? Do you think it's possible to get a pro record using a Focusrite Scarlett for example. Do you think the quality of these budgets units arent as important nowadays?

      I use UA Apollo’s for conversion now. I’ve had them all and these are as good as any. Using the focusrite will, because of its quality, accumulate a certain color that you will have to work around, but it is possible to yield good results. Creativity beats ‘professional’ most of the time

    Are those the same KRKs you did the KoL record on? 🧐

    • @JacquireKing
      @JacquireKing  28 днів тому +1

      No. Those were Gen1's. I don't use KRKs much anymore. Amphion for the win!

      That unit has lots of ability! Use it on anything you can think of and discover what you love about it. I mixed KOL drums on their second album through it for the hi end eq and tube saturation.
