@@pureniku I can’t speak on other Tesla model S years as this is the only one I drove. I feel like the sweet spot on pre owned EVs is 2 years old. They lose most of their value in that time and you still have a fairly new car
I had the car in cold weather over 2 days. I experienced a range of roughly 250-280 miles, mostly driving the car normally. Temperatures averaged 35 degrees F. Some perspective, I had to charge this car twice and I stayed local both days. The charging itself is rather quick unless the station is experiencing high volume.
250~280 is about right for near freezing temperatures. Range of 350 miles would be reasonable to expect from this 4 year old Model S in summer time, but give it about 0.6 factor as normally you would drive between 20% and 80% charge. So about 200 miles max for daily driving (with some reserve left).
This is a very basic review by someone that probably doesn’t appreciate the inherent technological differences between ICE and EVs and between Tesla and all other EV manufacturers (and no, I’m not an EM acolyte).
I appreciate your comment but if you've watched any of my other videos you'd know I focus on driving impressions and what it's like to live with the vehicle in question. I'm not here to educate on the world of Tesla. Find someone else to watch if that's what you're looking for.
What quality issues? Mine has 105,000 miles on it. Replaced the charge port once (Tesla tech came to my garage and fixed it in 15 min) for $250. That’s it. Compare it to 100,000 miles maintenance cost on ANY gasoline car and you will want to cry yourself to sleep. Not to mention gas cost.
Dude you can unlock doors by the parking button . Easy. Two clicks. Can choose all doors or just driver door . Enjoy. Sick ride .
I plan on trading in my car for a Tesla model s do you recommend this particular year ?

What's your charging curve in that thing?
Not my car, I charged it once while I had it. I got about 220 miles on a full charge
What is your range 350 ?

To unlock the doors you can just put the car in park. No need to use the screen.
If you’re quickly picking someone up I find that to more of a nuisance than having a physical unlock button to press.
@@auto_joe that is the same ONE button press :-) :-) :-)
@ what was wrong with a button on the door card?
@@auto_joe you know what just buy a Chevy.
@ don’t worry I own a Mach E which is a way better EV
Thanks for the tour. Looks like a fun ride.

Maintainence is pretty much zero on those things
Besides consumables and quality issues yeah
