King Triton: She really does love him, doesn't she, Marlin? Marlin: Mmm. Well, it's like I always say, Your Majesty: Children have to be free to lead their own lives. King Triton: You always say that? Well, I guess there's just one problem left. Marlin: And what's that, Your Majesty? King Triton: How much I'm going to miss her. Crowd: Long live Ariel! Jason: Gee, Michelle, how come you're going? Michelle: Well, Ariel's gonna have kids, so somebody's gonna keep an eye on things. Grimsby: Ho! Carlotta: Oh! I've never been so happy! Chef Louis: Aha! Marlin: Yes! Thank you, thank you. Ariel: I love you, Daddy. Chorus: Love goes on and on. Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally. Golly, what a day. Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally. Golly, what a day!
Ariel (Jodi Benson), the fun-loving and mischievous mermaid, is enchanted with all things human. Despite her father's (Kenneth Mars) order to stay away from the world above the sea, she swims to the surface and, in a raging storm, rescues the prince (Christopher Daniel Barnes) of her dreams. Determined to be human, she strikes a bargain with the evil Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) and trades her fins and beautiful voice in exchange for a pair of legs. With her best friend, the adorable and chatty Flounder (Jason Marin), and her reluctant chaperone Marlin (Albert Brooks), the hilarious, reggae-singing clownfish, at her side, Ariel must win the prince's love and save her father's kingdom-all in a heart-pounding race against time!
1:02 best part for the end
