The weight issue is on longer print runs. Let me tell you.... Been down that road and at the end of the day anyway i can cut down on weight..... I would do. Of course this is on a manual press. Hope this helps.
Since you couldn't get the mesh you like, could you have DIY your own mesh. My understanding is that it's just 4 plastic strips sewed into the fabric. That said, is it possible to cut plastic strips yourself and super-glue it to the fabric?
Hey, I think the experiences I have had printing on everything from metal to plastic and garments has given me a good understanding, so maybe just not get distracted as much with digital printing and making websites for people in the beginning just because customers were asking for it.
You can also get roller mesh panels similar to the eco panels. It makes loading and stretching faster and more accurate due to the pre softened corners.
Great video! You said that they only supply certain mesh sheets, but is it possible to use regular mesh in roll?

Nortech Eco frame is the bomb! Stuck on it
Will have to see what those are!
@@squeegeeandink These frames you are reviewing are the Nortech Eco frames. Thanks for the review Bosun! Hope all is well with you sir.
I recommend them. The only issue is that the frames are thicker than static so they don't fit in the standard screen rack as well etc.
Ah yeah so many knock-on things to think about when you change one thing!
I printed shirts 20 years ago and loved it but sold it all for a different job, if you were to start all over again what would you do?
