It didn't work for me at first, but when I saw that the extension of the file we downloaded was ".lua", I changed it to ".luac" and solved the problem. I hope I could help. (".lua" for Windows 11 | ".luac" for Windows 10 [My opinion.]) It was fixed when I made this comment but when I tried again the next day it didn't work I was looking for a different app to play UA-cam videos and found SMPlayer. So far I've had a good experience with UA-cam videos but watching live streams consumes more computer resources than VLC. For now I'm using SMPlayer for videos and VLC for live streams.

But the nail in the coffin... several nails, actually, was at 1:32 where you hover your mouse over your "Program Files (x86)" and it displays a popup preview of what is in that folder. Ahem.... "AnyDesk"?? That's like the NUMBER ONE most popular program used by scammers to access YOUR computer remotely WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. There are a few other MAJOR RED FLAGS peppered throughout the entire time. VIEWERS BEWARE !!!!!!!
I think the problem is that UA-cam is actively trying to prevent people from downloading videos, so they make changes that break the feature. This feature probably works fine on other sites that have videos.

That just means he has anydesk installed. I also wouldnt recommend installing the file from him, but this doesnt mean hes a scammer.
