I tried to watch WRC for the first time on this Montecarlo Rally. Hated the TV coverage, so few cameras around the stages. The most amazing things of rallies is to watch the cars fly by from the outside, you can't just use onboards 95% of the time. Also the mandatory interview thing to nearly all drivers on the line while the rest of drivers are still racing is just silly.
It's not a circuit you know. Do you realise how much effort is involved in getting 4 cameras on to one stage? It's kilometers of fiber that's got to be rigged that morning and then moved again that evening to the next stages. Easy if you're at a circuit. Not so easy when it's 300km of stage.

Have you seen F1 highlights? Almost every video is 10 minutes. High quality content. That's why I subscribe to F1 TV. Sorry but I'll never buy Wrc + based on the short videos with awful music added. Why would anyone want to pay for that?
Man, I understand the passion about the WRC, I'm passionate myself, but surely so many flashing or blinding lights especially by the fans on the curbs has gotta be pretty distracting. It's hard enough as it is without it, isn't it?

That opening stage is certainly one of the most memorable views ever in WRC.
