Lori
Teddy Bears in a Blanket
1 roll crescents
1 pkg teddy bear graham cracker cookies
1 large chocolate bar
1/2 stick melted butter
Roll out crescent rolls and press together. Slice into eight squares to make the blankets.
Take one rectangle of chocolate bar and place in the center of the upper part of the blanket (this is the pillow). Place a teddy bear cookie on top of the chocolate pillow. Fold up the sides of the blanket to tuck the teddy bear in nice and tight. Brush with butter. Bake in 375 F oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool before eating.
Bubbles
1 can flaky biscuits
Hersey’s kisses, unwrapped
1 stick butter, melted
1 C cinnamon sugar
Open the biscuits and tear each into 3-4 parts.
Take one piece of biscuit and place a kiss inside. Roll it up where no chocolate is showing.
Dip it in the melted butter.
Roll it in the cinnamon sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.
Rolo Pretzel Bites
1 bag mini pretzels
1 bag rolo candy
Pecans, optional
Place pretzels on cookie sheet in one layer. Place an unwrapped rolo on each pretzel. Bake at 250 F for 3-5 mins, until rolos are partially melted.
When pretzels come out of the oven, place another pretzel (or pecan half) on top and press down.
Allow to cool before eating.
Saltine Toffee
1 box saltines
1 C butter
1 C brown sugar
Heat butter in sauce pan. Once melted add 1 C brown sugar and stir. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until it becomes a caramel color and is well incorporated.
Oil large cookie sheet and place saltines in one layer, completely covering the cookie sheet.
Pour butter/sugar mixture on top of crackers and spread to cover all saltines.
Bake at 350 F for 7-8 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly and remove from pan. Toffee will be set in 1 hour or so.
Your teens are so good with Lane! A lot of teens who have much younger siblings yell at them or get impatient with them. I saw a few times Lane did something his way or went to a step too early, and they took it with such grace and quietly corrected it or made a joke out of what he did. Good job Kelsey and Kendal!
They really are. They are so sweet to him.
Loved the Treat’s, but the best part of all was the laughter and fun. Thanks for sharing. 😂❤

What a blessing! We homeschooled our kids till they graduated. We used to cook together when they were younger. Everything looks so delicious. You are so creative.❤ ❤❤❤

Hey, Sweet Family! 🙋🏻♀️
Thanks so much for sharing these moments with us! I have 4 boys, all grown with lives of their own, and this reminded me of some of our fun family moments in the kitchen or decorating in the living room 😢. Brings back bittersweet memories. ❤️❤️❤️
Such a sweet video!
Thank you!! 😊
My Nanny (paternal grandmother) always made trash (Chex trail mix), sausage balls, rice krispy treats and home made Reece’s cups. I make some of these (not all) each year and we make homemade gingerbread every Christmas holiday season. Gingerbread men, houses, zombies, or whatever cookie cutter they decide to use. I’d love to make some of the recipes you shared and gift them to the neighbors (if they make it that far). 😂 ❤
I’ve never made gingerbread cookies. I should try!!
I love love love sausage balls!
Loved this!
Thanks!
Christmas crack is my favorite. After baking the toffee on crackers then added chocolate chips on top until melted then spread cover toffee then sprinkle chopped pecan. Yummy! Decorating sugar cookies more fun with kids. Square pretzels and kisses candy baked for few minutes then press m&m candy on top. White chocolate melted drizzle on popcorn on the cookie sheet and sprinkle Christmas colors.
Sounds great!
