- In the spring when the greenery begins to sprout, in the summer when it reaches its climax, and during the rainy season in between, plants grow very fast. When it rains while I travel, I feel a little disappointed, but when it rains in my own garden, it feels so good.
Whenever the seasons change, I am always sad to see them go, but at the same time excited for the new ones to come.
This place is part of my homestead.
LAMP (female dog) and YONA (female cat) are usually in the main house.
Orange Tabby's GWIN (male cat) is elusive.
This is not a how-to video.
The method I'm using is not necessarily the right one. Nowadays, you can find out the right way to do things by searching on Google. If you only want results, that's fine too.
But for me, the most important thing is not whether a method is right or wrong, but to experience firsthand why it succeeds or fails.
All work is done personally and at my own risk.

We had plenty of rain and wind last night in my neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia. In fact, we had a full blown tornado hit. I was very lucky, had no damage at all, but many people had trees fall on their homes, accidents, flooding and other problems. Power was out all night, just came on about an hour ago. It was scary, but God always seems to watch out for me. Your video of peace and quiet is a welcome relief after such a stressful night. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us.

Same here but in Colorado. Flash flood warnings due to land scarring from forest fires. We have had rain on and off. We are considered a drought area in most places but not complaining of the rain We do get. Great video as usual. Lamp is such a cute dog.

What a nice video, so very fascinating to watch. I have seen videos of people living in a 25 million dollar mansion in Belaire, and I have seen videos of people living in 25 thousand dollar cabins in woodland in remote, mountainous areas, and think people living in small cabins amidst nature are a lot happier. But one needs to be a handyman to live where you are living, and you certainly are handy. I liked the furniture and shelves you have built using simple, almost primitive tools. Planting a few more fruit trees near your cabin might help. Just when I thought a mulberry tree might thrive there, what do I see? A mulberry tree! So, I see that you are quite knowledgeable regarding what to plant. Thank you very much for uploading this video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Another very relaxing and enjoyable video. I like that you plan all these projects so you will have a safe haven if you need one. That is very wise. My whole life my husband and I prepared for the unexpected and taught our children. Many times it came in handy. It has been turned over to the children now since my husband passed away a year ago. I had once a grey striped cat, Norwegian woodcat that always sat on my shoulders as fast as I went outside to work in the garden or anything else
outside. He was walking up ladders too. Funny to watch your creaming cat sit at your shoulders :-)

Lol. Gwin is a character. Maybe plant catnip for him and put up cat toys for him to play with in the yard, a ball on a string, a toy in a wooden box.
