An excellent look at one way to organize a large storage room! This would serve as a great starting point for someone new to large scale storage.
I store all items specific to potion making separate from my other mob drops in an area by my brewing station, food/crop items go in a kitchen area, and raw ores go by my smelter setup. Other than that, we organize similarly.
Many ways to do it! I like to keep some items in different area's where convenient too, usually I'll keep them in both spots though.

In our realm we have over 100 shulkers of GP and are ready to blow up the nether at spawn for a hub =)
An enormous task. I'm overwhelmed by it. May be a while before I would attempt.

I recommend doing a little at a time.. maybe even like as you use things... do a project that uses a ton of different wood blocks? Put them away in the new storage when you're done!

Way earlier this BG season I did a similar episode for the manual storage room. Same process really, but on a larger scale.

Built a 396 sorting and 105 overflow chest system and now it's sitting waiting for me to get past being overwhelmed by the task of actually deciding what to sort and where.🤔

yo do u not need a section for armout tools weapons enchants etc?
prowl have you thought of or tried to click on a sign instead of breaking it?
Prowl did click on some signs to change them, but it can take a while to change habits from something like 5 to 10 years of playing a game. I haven't been playing many years and some of the stuff Mojang changed in the last couple of updates (e.g. signs) still catch me out 😂
I made a huge auto sorter system and it pretty much made my game unplayable because of Lag I am very nervous to do another.

I will certainly not be building this chest monster, that would take me multiple months to build. I might build 1 or 2 walls but that's about it.
I think I did this whole thing in about 9 hours? Organizing it took longer

Did you get the silver play button
Prowl did get his play button and opened it during a live stream. He actually mentioned it today, in his morning livestream, but said that he didn't want to do it in a proper video dedicated to just the play button
