Hinglaagadh? No, HingalaJgadh. Rampura is my ancestral place, and I have spent my childhood years there. I been to the Hinglajgadh Fort many many times. It had an enormous strategic importance in the 18th Century, and has witnessed many historic battles.
Although in ruins now, it is still a beautiful place to visit. Many artifacts from here are now on display at the Museum in Indore.
Incidentally, decades down the road, in the times of YashwantRao, I, the twin city Bhanpura would serve as the capital of the Holkar State. His cenotaph is there as well as the ruins of the foundries and the cannon factory that he had established.
