If they had done cloud seeding even a day earlier, it wouldn’t have any impact on what happened with this storm. So unless there is evidence they actively seeded the clouds that led to this specific storm, all this talk of cloud seeding is irrelevant.
Yes, and it will be increasingly necessary to cope with the impact humans have already had on the climate due to CO2. We have already drastically increased the levels of CO2 to levels not seen since human beings evolved. Our only chance to manage the impact now will include a lot of geo-engineering.

I suspect that Dubai doesn't have really good storm water systems, with water retention areas and so on. The water was left with nowhere else to go, so it went where it could. The amount of concrete everywhere also exacerbates the runoff, the water cannot be soaked up by foliage and soil.

Yep, it’s been used for around 80 years around the world. It has a very short term, very localised impact at best but it can help ensure rain falls in a specific area where it is needed, assuming the conditions are right for rain in the first place.

And both were true. An increased frequency of severe weather events is what is expected due to climate change. The specifics of what those events will be is weather - and that’s very hard to forecast in the long term. But both being extreme weather events is entirely consistent with both being made more likely due to climate change.

I am Australian living in Dubai 5 years my Villa flooded 2” underwater for 2 days, the water level outside my doors was over a foot, luckily they held, a week before it was almost 100 here we were all getting ready for the heat to come, there was nothing normal about this weather, during the 2 days of rain there was nonstop lightning and thunder everywhere, what was so strange was the frequency it’s was like thousands of thunder and lightning happening at once or slightly of each other across the entire sky, I have been here long enough to see and experience normal Cloud seeding, this was something new some kind of new technology

Short answer - none of them. Longer answer - humans are contributing to an increased frequency of severe weather events due to climate change. Earthquakes, we have cause some tiny ones due to fracking in some areas and also historically due to nuclear testing - but human induced earthquakes are 10,000x smaller than even a small natural earthquake so are not really relevant when discussing earthquakes as a form of natural disaster.

Well this happened NATURALLY here in Houston years ago during Hurricane Harvey. I think it was reported we got a year worth of rain over a few days. The flooding was HORRIFIC!!! Praying for Dubai.
Cloud seeding has been around since WW1. It changes battlefield and aircraft fighting. The US uses it all the time. And China, and many other developed countries.
Water can be pulled from the air with dehumidifiers. I had one and had to empty the canister every few days that held the water pulled from the air. Nobody ever mentions it.
Wow, they got 10 inches of rain in two days, which I know from experience is a lot to get all at once. We got 52 inches of rain in three days in Houston a few years ago and we are pretty used to rain, but that caused catastrophic flooding. It was more than our annual rainfall of 49 inches average.

In NV we got part of a rare Hurricane that formed down by Mexico and we missed it in Las Vegas but in our mountains it dumped 10+ inches and all in CA. and all hell broke loose and took months o clean up here in mount Charleston area . You can seed as many clouds as you like but if the moisture isn't up there it won't cause magnified amounts of rain. This happened because a globally heated atmosphere means more evaporation means stronger winds and much more rain. This is a natural event.
Extreme weather events were predicted and now they are happening. If any of this surprises you you weren't paying attention.

The narrator lost me when he brought up the recent earthquake in NJ and without any evidence, said it was due to climate change. The northeastern US is in a fault zone and although it’s not an extremely active earthquake area, it does have periodic earthquakes that can be felt every 5 years or so. How much else did this narrator make up?

Basically the entire video was misleading. Cloud seeding has a very localised, very short term impact. It can not cause any long term impact - that’s not how clouds/rain/science works. As for suggesting it could cause earthquakes - ludicrous.
Unfortunately such nonsense like this does seem to appeal to certain conspiracy types - and reacting to it seems to be getting him a lot of views, but spreading such misinformation and giving it credibility, is not a responsible thing to be doing.

Yep, it’s been used for around 80 years around the world. It has a very short term, very localised impact at best but it can help ensure rain falls in a specific area where it is needed, assuming the conditions are right for rain in the first place.
August, 2022 from someone in the California State Government "Due to Climate Change this drought will last another 10 years and we will have to impose drastic measures," February 2023 after California gets hit by 7 atmospheric rivers ending the drought and dumping record rain on the state "All this rain is caused by Climate Change and we need to impose drastic measures to stop it."

An increased frequency of severe weather events is what is expected due to climate change. The specifics of what those events will be is weather - and that’s very hard to forecast in the long term.
But both being extreme weather events is entirely consistent with both being made more likely due to climate change.

Happens all the time, Climate Change is just the means to control people. It is not extreme weather, it is California weather.

I am Australian living in Dubai 5 years my Villa flooded 2” underwater for 2 days, the water level outside my doors was over a foot, luckily they held, a week before it was almost 100 here we were all getting ready for the heat to come, there was nothing normal about this weather, during the 2 days of rain there was nonstop lightning and thunder everywhere, what was so strange was the frequency it’s was like thousands of thunder and lightning happening at once or slightly of each other across the entire sky, I have been here long enough to see and experience normal Cloud seeding, this was something new some kind of new technology

Short answer - none of them.
Longer answer - humans are contributing to an increased frequency of severe weather events due to climate change. Earthquakes, we have cause some tiny ones due to fracking in some areas and also historically due to nuclear testing - but human induced earthquakes are 10,000x smaller than even a small natural earthquake so are not really relevant when discussing earthquakes as a form of natural disaster.

Well this happened NATURALLY here in Houston years ago during Hurricane Harvey. I think it was reported we got a year worth of rain over a few days. The flooding was HORRIFIC!!! Praying for Dubai.

'Cloud seeding' - Reap what you sow! Literally
Cloud seeding has been around since WW1. It changes battlefield and aircraft fighting. The US uses it all the time. And China, and many other developed countries.
Water can be pulled from the air with dehumidifiers. I had one and had to empty the canister every few days that held the water pulled from the air. Nobody ever mentions it.

Look it up cloud seeding in California. This could effect other states and should have had townhall meetings prior to practice.
Wow, they got 10 inches of rain in two days, which I know from experience is a lot to get all at once. We got 52 inches of rain in three days in Houston a few years ago and we are pretty used to rain, but that caused catastrophic flooding. It was more than our annual rainfall of 49 inches average.
