Congratulations Andrew, you are finally reviewing coaches that your average working man can afford. These are very interesting to people as myself…. Good job!
Nice Coach, depends on what you want to use it for: Keep the Newell if you plan on towing, and consider that Newell still supports its product directly.
This is one of the few times we didn't get to see the storage/equipment bays. Years ago I drove several Monaco, Beaver, & Country Coach buses which were as good a production coach you could find back then. Top quality construction, the finest materials inside & out, great driving were trademarks of these coaches. Seeing a 2001 in such great condtion doesn't surprise me. Many felt they rode better that the more expensive buses. Someone is going to get a great buy. Thx again!!!
Well I pray you can keep both..this was an incredible era. They do awesome wood finishes in Oregon. Gorgeous..lucky Doug. Thanks for putting LOVELY affordables online.
My wife and I had a 38' 1991 Beaver Contessa for 7 years (60k miles) that we hauled our race trailer around with. The woodwork was amazing. It was the old body style and was on a Gillig chassis but got a lot of attention in campgrounds. Sold it in 2007 when we upgraded to our 2003 Monaco Dynasty. Love the Dynasty but I think the woodwork was nicer in the Beaver. As much as I like that Beaver you bought I think I would keep the Newell. Mike
Hey Andrew! That Beaver is really nice. Incredible that it's 20+ years old. Glad you're keeping the Newell! You sold me on Country Coach....now you've got me even more sold on Newell. Just gonna take some time to figure out how to make it work!
I own a 2000 Monaco Dynasty and for the last three years I’ve been full-time in it and still love this coach. And as you say they drive great down the road.
Great RV, Andrew, but timing is everything. If we were ready, we would have jumped on this one. Hope you can find us a gem like this when our time comes 🙂
Andrew is the Hoovies garage of the RV world! “I bought the nicest and cheapest Beaver in the country!” It is more up to date on the inside and the outside than the Newell! Might be better to keep it. Much less maint!
Andrew, that is a Jura espresso maker on the counter! We have one that was given to us, very lucky. They start around $1,300.00! My husband took ours all apart and and rebuilt it. Best espresso next to Italy. Have a great day! Love your videos of you and Shay!
What did you ask us for our opinions for if you already seem to be giving in to him ? I love the way he is Buttering you up about your fantastic knowledge of RVs!
We purchased this RV from Doug. Note he says in this video he’s gonna fix all the little things. It had an ABS light on and they worked on it BUT DID NOT FIX IT. That is certainly a safety issue. I might add too that the foggy windows weren’t fixed either.
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele yes we did reach out to him and he told us we were on our own. His words exactly. Further we took it to Virginia and it overheated in the water and transmission fluid which now both need to be changed. Got up to 230 degrees. And slowed to 11 MPH On the long climbs.
Fast-talking, awe shucks, country fat boy salesmen are the worst. You have to hold their feet to the fire and make them fulfill our promises before going through with the deal. Otherwise, they'll tell you that "you're on your own".
Nice seeing an old Beaver get some Love! We have a 2001 Patriot (Brandywine plan) we bought a year ago with 60k that is immaculate for well under $50k, it drives, tows and everything works well hard to beat the value, a definite keeper for us.
Andrew, I was taught that when you are in doubt regarding making a big decision, don't allow yourself to be talked into a decision that you may regret. I am an older retired USAFR CAPT and would sleep on it before making a decision. When in doubt, not making a decision is also a decision. To thine own self be true! Be careful.
I must have missed it. How much is this rig going for now. I must say, many of the RVs he shows on this channel are gorgeous and seem solid as all hell, especially the riveted body styles.
Nice Beaver Contessa. My opinion is keep the Newell and trade up with a newer Newell when you can afford it. Actually do whatever Shea wants. Happy trails!
Flipping Rv's by Andrew Steele! There are a few vacant lots on I-4 where you can open up a RV dealership with your big dog buddy and start taking a bite out of Lazy Day's! LOL!
Selling this thing hard in this video, I love my 2002 Itasca Horizon. No emission diesel pushers are the best. Easily upgradable and cheap to register and operate.
As impressive as the Newell is, any maintenance or major repairs could break the bank. Most RV service centers can competently work on the Beaver, not necessarily so with the Newell. Maneuvering in & out of tight spots might be easier with the Newell. Good luck. 👍
We considered a Beaver on several occasions. Even went through their factory. CONTESSA was a very nice model. Not going to have all the latest technology but less to be concerned with. If it was me I sell it and take the profit. Your Newell is a more advanced coach, it's a keeper!
So nice Andrew! -- QUESTION -- We would purchase this if still available.. Can you let us know what came of it and how it looked after the paint fix? Please, would love to know the details. Very interested.
Andrew! Awesome find. I honestly think you should sell the Newell and enjoy the Beaver. It is the top of the early coaches and a bit smaller. The Newel has the notoriety of being Darrell Waltrip's toy and that may just inspire a Nascar nut to jump on it! (at a nice profit) ThomyT
I have the exact same coach except mine is a mid door coach! I have owned it since 2012 and full time since 2018! I have taken good care of it and still love it and perfect for myself, my wife, and Willy our Pekapoo! Should I own two of these?
Personally I think you sold this one too quickly. I’m sure that many of your followers would have been delighted to buy this Beaver. The cabinetry is outstanding as is the opportunity to have a full bath. I thought you two were considering your purchase of a property? I’m looking every day for my perfect property and just missed the most stunning RV park I have ever seen. It even had a boat deck (unused) with another 20-50 acres for expansion. It pays for itself in under 4 years without any expansion. I think it’s time we all had a talk about the possibilities. Everyone I have mentioned it to has asked me if they can invest including a Royal family. It would be a wonderful place to sell RVs and let owners sell through the facilities. A supermarket, laundry room and massive mechanical warehouse for any repairs needed. I’d be interested in your thoughts Andrew and Doug as we bring some European flare to America soon 🇺🇸
I will always vote keep the Newell you will never find another coach like it such a beauty and rare coach You also can’t beat Newell customer support in event of a break down of any type no one else has that type of support on something they built 5,10,35 years ago with people that still work at the manufacturer that built your coach
That is a awesome looking coach but if I used it like you do the Newell would be the keeper.. That said if the wife and I were in the market for a coach that would definitely be of great interest..
Flipping RV's .....no. Stick to what you know, which is providing a very good UA-cam channel. Enjoy life and traveling with Shay and the dogs, not going after the almighty dollar. You have a good gig going Andrew.
How much was it Andrew? I got a 2001 safari sahara ( Monaco goodies ) for 40k in 2015 , it's my big baby . Disc brakes , Allison / Cummings . 135k miles no problems at all .
Personally, I think if you have a loan on the Newell and can own that free and clear I'd sell the Newell, I would never have a loan on a motor home as I think having a payment takes the fun out of it, Now if you own the Newell outright why not keep it and make some money on the Beaver.
Seems like you are having second thoughts about owning the Newell. Especially with all these really nice older coaches you have been reviewing lately. Seems like the Beaver might be a better fit for you knowing the history of it.
The Beaver is very nice but is it everything that your Newell is? I'd gladly trade my Dutchmen Denali for either one. I don't envy the decision you have to make.
Congratulations Andrew, you are finally reviewing coaches that your average working man can afford. These are very interesting to people as myself…. Good job!
You never forget your first beaver
I guess we know now which one he is keeping. Glad you are safe Andrew! May God bless you and Shea forever!
Nice Coach, depends on what you want to use it for: Keep the Newell if you plan on towing, and consider that Newell still supports its product directly.

You are exactly right but this coach might be too nice to be a hoopie. :)
Andrews Newel caught on fire the other day. He has a video out.
Andrew, that is a Jura espresso maker on the counter! We have one that was given to us, very lucky. They start around $1,300.00! My husband took ours all apart and and rebuilt it. Best espresso next to Italy. Have a great day! Love your videos of you and Shay!

Welcome to Florida! Hoping the move goes well and you enjoy the Newell!
Love those Beaver coaches. What a find! The new owner is going to score with this rig!!!!
We purchased this RV from Doug. Note he says in this video he’s gonna fix all the little things. It had an ABS light on and they worked on it BUT DID NOT FIX IT. That is certainly a safety issue. I might add too that the foggy windows weren’t fixed either.
I am very sorry to hear that. Have you reached out to him? Have you left a Google review letting him know how you feel.

We just bought a Beaver Patriot and absolutely love it!
One of the things I like most on my Newell is the lack of cabinets above the windows. I like that I don't need to stoop to look out the windows.
Andrew is your wife included in the sale? You are a lucky guy Andrew. Good luck to you both.
I have a 1990 beaver marquise amazing condition and its one of the best rvs I have been in new and old

We love our beaver we have a 09 patriot thunder we ordered and have raced out of it since then amazing coaches
Doug likes that one go check out the Country Coach the James at AZ posted. That thing is in amazing shape
I have 2 beavers right now they are amazing
Flipping Rv's by Andrew Steele! There are a few vacant lots on I-4 where you can open up a RV dealership with your big dog buddy and start taking a bite out of Lazy Day's!
LOL!
Andrew, thank you for getting back to me so fast, it would help if I knew his surname or company name. Canada is a big place.
Bruce coach I believe
Sell both and buy a Prevost 👍
Yup. Nothing matches a Prevost for ride and overall quality and safety
Country Coach
I used to be a framer on this model in the late 90’s in Bend, Oregon
Beaver looks stunning even at that age!
Keep ‘em both bro! Why not! Love Always mate
Dude you got the hottie and the Newell
Your Officially the king of the road
Selling this thing hard in this video, I love my 2002 Itasca Horizon. No emission diesel pushers are the best. Easily upgradable and cheap to register and operate.
Ok Andrew gotta sit your bottom in a ForeTravel Ih 45 or so....2013, 2014....promise you will love it. They are great for the money and high-end.
LOL!! I like how Doug stated: "I think you better let me handle this one." LOL...
Congratulations 🎉 Andrew it is a beautiful Motorcoach
As impressive as the Newell is, any maintenance or major repairs could break the bank. Most RV service centers can competently work on the Beaver, not necessarily so with the Newell. Maneuvering in & out of tight spots might be easier with the Newell. Good luck. 👍
Nice Beaver!! I’m looking for one myself. Congratulation!!!
70,000 miles on a diesel it’s not even broken yet. That’s a great year no government juice💯👍
We considered a Beaver on several occasions. Even went through their factory. CONTESSA was a very nice model. Not going to have all the latest technology but less to be concerned with. If it was me I sell it and take the profit. Your Newell is a more advanced coach, it's a keeper!

Super nice! I’m digging this one. Sell the Newell, keep the Beaver! 😁🤓😎
I have a 1999 Contessa. They are wonderful Riggs
I love my ‘03 Beaver Monterey. Similar floor plan as the Contessa.
Congratulations!
Sorry about the Newell! Great timing to have a backup!
You should not have ever got rid of your Tiffin. I loved that coach.
Buying anything from high ranking military people is a good idea. They tend to take meticulous care of stuff.
Don't let a salesman take it away from you !
you sold me on that coach. Wish I could have bought it!
love the full bath tube .thats what I look for .very nice rig.
I have the exact same coach except mine is a mid door coach! I have owned it since 2012 and full time since 2018!
I have taken good care of it and still love it and perfect for myself, my wife, and Willy our Pekapoo! Should I own two of these?
Andrew, I would love to see you go with a CC but other than that do what’s best.
Hope you are both doing well and getting the Newell situation sorted out. Should have kept the Beaver, eh?
Doug is drooling over the Beaver!
Everybody likes a good beaver!
Personally I think you sold this one too quickly. I’m sure that many of your followers would have been delighted to buy this Beaver. The cabinetry is outstanding as is the opportunity to have a full bath.

I agree that we viewers would have probably purchased this coach "as is".
I will always vote keep the Newell you will never find another coach like it such a beauty and rare coach

interested in this. I would like to see more of it.

You are a wheeler dealer. Do you still have your RV lot that you bought?
Great pick up. Very clean coach
I guess you sold the wrong one. I’m glad to hear you guys are ok
I personally would be keeping that Beaver. Great windows, bright decor. Dining on the correct side…..Oh well, lol. 🍻
Welcome to Florida hope to bump in to you
Great video I’m shopping for a beaver
Nothing better than a good beaver
Very nice coach guys ! wish you could ship it to The Netherlands 🙂
Love your videos! Yes sell this make some dough, keep the Newell! For now lol safe travels!
Keep the Newell. But sell the Beaver to me. Nice find. Safe travels.
This is a beautiful Motorcoach
Personally, I think if you have a loan on the Newell and can own that free and clear I'd sell the Newell, I would never have a loan on a motor home as I think having a payment takes the fun out of it, Now if you own the Newell outright why not keep it and make some money on the Beaver.
The Newell will be more Expensive on the long run than heck !
Keep the Beaver sell the other.
A beautiful coach!
I mean, don’t we all love a clean Beaver?😋
I’d always take the Beaver . . . especially now.
First off, nice well kept Beaver coach. Second & more importanly = Wear your seatbelts !
Even the channels are now infomercials. That’s just great.
I say keep the Newell and make a few bucks on the Beaver. Doug will do you right. My 2 cents.
I'm very interested!!!!!!! I want to here prices ASAP!!!! I'll prob be calling you tomorrow
Nice coach! Gotta get a Big Tony cameo.
All of these pre 2010 coaches are now illegal in California. You can drive them in as visitor but you cannot register them.
Tire dates? Looks a lot like my old Country Coach. I had the same bathtub
Keep the beaver ! Re - invest your money 💰 and make more ! Don't get behind, it's a no Brainer.
The Newell made the decision for you!
I gotta say, you can't go wrong with a nice clean beaver!!😆
Sweet ride.
“Should we sell the Newell and keep this?” Hindsight is 20/20
Seems like you are having second thoughts about owning the Newell. Especially with all these really nice older coaches you have been reviewing lately. Seems like the Beaver might be a better fit for you knowing the history of it.
I so want this RV
Great work love from kenya
The Beaver is very nice but is it everything that your Newell is? I'd gladly trade my Dutchmen Denali for either one. I don't envy the decision you have to make.
Andrew, you said you are moving to Florida? Where?
Now I need to drive a beaver!!!
Hope you didn't sell it yet! Sending lots of love your way, RIP Newell.
Do I see a partnership with Sewell Motorcoach down the pipeline?
