But I like a plain country girl

Freak flags unfurled and dripping with wine
But you’re really not of their kind-I’m not so blind
And in my dreams you’re flying through the town
Just a young girl on her bike without a sound-homeward bound
Laughing and singing along the way
People all smiling as if to say-what a great day!

I probably won’t leave this up long. Once again I’ve written a song too hard for me to sing so the vocal is terrible. The last couple of songs I’ve posted sound like they belong in a Broadway musical which only proves I’ve been listening to Harry Nilsson and Randy Newman too much. I hope it doesn’t repulse you and you can look past the poor vocal performance to the song itself. I may come out with a classical guitar version one day.
The guitar is tuned 1-step down (two frets) if you want to try to figure this one out.
