    Hey Darcie I have a question for you. I plan on moving to Florida in my early 20s and I plan on taking up boating in Florida. I will only do boating recreationally as I have no interest in fishing. However, I'm stuck between a motorboat or a sailboat. I'm leaning towards a motorboat because I don't plan on boating around the world. I also notice most people in Florida have motorboats. I also have no prior experience with boats. Would you suggest a motorboat or a sailboat for me? Thanks.

    • @spencer5280_
      @spencer5280_ 4 роки тому

      Definitely get a motor. Better all around, especially without experience. Unless you plan to sit in the harbor/bay for extended period of times. I’d suggest looking into a little 16’-20’ skiff to get started. I realize this is directed at her, but just my $0.02

    • @coreystence7393
      @coreystence7393 4 роки тому +1

      @@spencer5280_ Hey man I appreciate the feedback. I was leaning towards a motorboat anyway just because they are more modern and sailboats seem kind of boring to me.

    • @spencer5280_
      @spencer5280_ 4 роки тому

      @@coreystence7393 yeah no problem, the skiff would give you the feel of boat ownership, they’re affordable, they’re versatile - great to take them out fishing and or just out with a few friends a have a great time on the water/wakeboard, all that fun stuff. Like I was saying it also gives you a feel of boat ownership, some love it, for others it’s a huge hassle and they thought they’d use it more or get more out of it. A skiff is the cheapest boat you can actually enjoy in my opinion. I’d definitely lean towards a 20’ if its in the price range.
      But enjoy your purchase, whatever it ends up being I’m sure you’ll have a blast!

    You said "a little bigger" a couple times, reminded me of this riddle. Mr Bigger and Mrs Bigger had two teenagers, and just had another baby girl a couple months ago. Which member of that family was the largest? Easy - the baby! Why? Because she was a little bigger!

    If you want to work on your diet, cut the carbs not the fat. Carbs along with fat is the absolute worst thing you can eat. Low carbs / high fat content is the way to fix your metabolism, LDL, and HDL levels. Your triglycerides will go up at first but should stabilize at an acceptable level. I have been following a Ketogenic diet for over three years and currently have the best metabolic indicators I have experienced in my adult life. I’m 65 years old and have not felt this good in 25 years. I Lost weight and inflammation (joint pain), my blood pressure dropped 12 points, and my fasting blood glucose average dropped from the 110 range to the 78 range. I am just speaking from experience but this is the best thing I have done for myself.
