I bought the soil drench for aphids and it works! My roses are shiny and glorious and bugs aren’t chewing on them. Woo hoo thanks Jenny for that recommendation!! 🦋🌹
Hi Jenny, the patio is going to be gorgeous when the plants fill in! Alyssa is a lucky young lady to be loved by her family and her Creekside family , it’s going to be a beautiful wedding ❣️❤️
Looking good Jenny; only thing tho, the emitters you used to connect the extra drip line were the wrong thing to use. Those are drip emitters meaning they will drip X amount per hour so they will not create enough output to pressurize the rest of your 1/4” drip tubing. What you should use is a connector for adding that type of drip line, or, with the emitters you did use you would use a solid 1/4” tubing that directs to the individual root balls. Love how all the gardens are developing ❤
This was THE best video. I learned so much about how to get rid of those pesky chewing insects. Glad you said don’t use Willy-nilly so I’ll be selective. Then learned how to assure my annuals are fantastic. I, too, am hosting a wedding this Summer (end of August) and want everything to be gorgeous. I garden in central NY zone 5.
I love how Jenny doubled herself @ 27:15 ! I wish I could literally do that😂 Everything looks great as always ! Mimi’s gardens were so admirable, we can certainly see where your passion for gardening comes from.
Oh Jenny your roses are so beautiful and everything else you touch. You have not only a green thumb, you have green hands. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. All your plants, flowers and shurbs and trees are going to be absolutely beautiful My poor little roses are pitiful. I've been trying for years to grow roses. Love all your video's. ❤
So fun to speak with both you and Jerry yesterday when we came to shop. You both are so gracious with your time and we're looking forward to seeing Mimi's garden as well as all of Creekside at the Experience! 😎
Deb here. My hibiscus get the saw tooth larvae and we spray with BT which targets just the worm and does not hurt other types of insects that are beneficial. We spray a couple if times.
hi jenny, i love your garden and watch first thing when i get up in the morning. have you ever thought of removing the blue rose of sharon and put it in another location? i think it will give the david austin roses a better chance to shine. just a thought.
Jenny this was such a terrific video, such great information I plan to apply to my gardens this season. I trim my boxwoods into meatballs as well, I love the look lol 😅
I wish I knew about that solution before. I have tried growing roses but the Japanese beetles demolished them before the buds would even open 🤬 (Raleigh, NC ). maybe I will give them another go.. also The pot that looks like a strawberry pot with the succulents in it.. would you go a little in depth about that in one of your videos.. maybe how you did it.. it looks so unusual. 😍**I found the video from a year ago where you planted the pot!
Wonderful video, I'm here in Australia 9.30 pm, and I'm getting very excited about this Wedding. It's all coming together beautifully garden wise. A greay days' work completed.
Thx for the reminder my friend to do the drench! Those pesky Japanese Beetles decimated my climbing hydrangea & Thundercloud Plums too last summer! Added to my to do list
Oh I am so excited. Sitting here watching Jenny plant annuals with envy, and I get my first notice from Creekside that my pre-ordered plants are shipping. Happy day!
Good morning Jenny!!! Put in my first order from creekside yesterday and i couldn't be more excited knowing i have plants from you and your family! Thank you my friend!
I like watching you because we have some of the same problems and you are a problem solver, hence aphids on roses. You’ve given me a solution. Thanks. Your garden/yard is beautiful 😊❤. ❤️🐾❤️
I'm noticing you put what looks to be a 2 gallon per hour emitter and attached the brown tubing to it but it will not work that way. The brown tubing already has emitters and the slow flow of the red emitter will prevent the other emitters on the brown tubing to work since there is insuff water pressure.
Yay! I got my order of annuals, and they are such healthy plants!! We are still very cool at night upper 30s) so I’m bringing them inside to overnight, and then I put them back out during the day. My nights will cool down year round here in the Pacific Northwest 8b. I wonder if you’d consider doing more trials next year of which annuals you can plant out early, because that’s when you match my summer climate better. It’s very helpful when you refer to actual temps that the plants like, too:)
Thank you so much for this timely video! I had not seen any buds or aphids on my roses, but ran right out and looked after watching your video, and Shazaam! Aphids galore. Going to go buy the stuff to kill the little buggers now.
Jenny, that was so very informative, I’ll be looking for that Ferti -lome for sure! Everything is looking so lovely, we’re still a good month 1/2 away here, but it’s com’n🌼🇨🇦🌼
Love the size and shape of the boxwoods. What other plants could I substitute instead of boxwoods that have more color? Those petunias are going to be so gorgeous
Love all you do, Jenny! I'm in love with the new Proven Winners Saffron Finch Petunia and my favorite Jazzberry. Your beds look gorgeous! I just finally got some sprinter boxwoods to replace some damaged by our deck roof that toppled over into a flower bed. I also purchased two Southern Living gardenias because I'm a Southern gal but living in Texas I miss so many of the plants I grew up with. But I'm now not sure where to plant them in my yard. I planted one in a pot for now. I'm waiting to determine where to plant the other one. What area does your back yard face where your gardenias are planted? Can they stand the heat in hot summertimes? Or should I plant in afternoon shade like hydrangeas? My David Austin roses are growing strong too. Love them all! Oh, I'm getting tea olives too thanks to you! You can sell me swamp land in Louisiana! Hahaha! I've learned so much from you all and my garden is looking so much better thanks to what I've learned from you to use in my garden to help -- everything from the Ferilome to Proven Winners products. Not to mention all the inspiration you give. Thanks so much or all you share.
Question regarding the drip irritation. Why did you use an emitter to connect the skinny drip tube to the supply line and not a straight through connector? Texas hill country (40 miles northwest of Austin) gardener (zone 8b) installing a new from scratch garden. Relocated from costal Southern California, where it’s always spring, a little over two years ago. So I’m still learning and still working out my drip irrigation. Love all your videos and the education you and Jerry have provided me over the past year and a half - even though Proven Winners plants are few and far between. Thank you
Jenny, you are a great gardener. Tell me are those Cardoons in your flower boxes. And do u sell them at your nursery? She is one lucky bride to have her wedding in your yard. Am sure it’s going to be stunning.
I found 3 small catepillars (brownish, dark colored head) crawling on the sheppards hook holding my hummingbird feeders above my hydrangeas. I haven't seen any on my hydrangeas. I peeked under the leaves and don't see any. Should I be concerned? If so, what should I treat the hydrangeas with. The area is hydrangeas and hosta. Thanks for your help! I am in Surfside Beach, SC.
Hi, Jenny. ❓I know you're using the Fertilome on the roses, but it doesn't protect against black spot. Are you treating for black spot, and, if so, what are you using? I think the planters are going to be gorgeous and I can't wait to see them fill in. Thanks a bunch!
Won't your cleome, saffron finch petunias, and terillias(sic) draw up the drench and kill the bees? According to the directions, it seems to be in the pollen and nectar as well as the leaves and stems.
The ascott raibow euphorbia is such a beautiful plant! Do they require pruning/cutting back? I lost mine last season after I cut them back in spring after they bloomed. We're a zone 7.
39:43 Guess I'm a Viola, then 🤷🏼♀️That's the time when Vermont starts sounding real nice 💚 GREAT video today, loved the different jobs and great info. Way to go on getting all that done!👩🏻🌾❤
I know this isn’t what we’re talking about, but what is best to feed a container strawberry plant plant? I’m wanting bigger and sweeter fruit than I’m getting. First time growing any. Thanks in advance for any advice. 🤓
Thank you so much for showing us how to use the fertilome. I bought it and was confused by the instructions. Plan on doing it today. What do you do about black spot in our very moist 8A. Do you spray fungicide? I love roses and I’m trying to learn how to do it here in South Carolina. Love your channel. Hope to come to your nursery someday soon😮.
That drench is a systemic. That means it is not selective of all the insects that it kills for the next 12 months because it is sucked up through the whole plant from the ground. It does work great, but unfortunately it will kill the pollinators, humming birds, earthworms, and so on.
Have a question. we are 8b and we are still in the 50 degrees as our Daffodils are just finished. Primrose are just started to bloom so what can I plant that is.frost free to plant? Our climate is si different from your but the Zone is close, don't quite understand.
Hi Jenny, have you ever had an issue with rose rosette disease? Just curious. Everything looks beautiful and I can't wait to see it progress through the summer.
You are very informative and I love this about you. Thank you! Do you ever run into snaked under your shaded plants/shrubs. I am thinking about planting some Hostas but an nervous about snakes being under the leaves?
The patio is looking beautiful! I remember you using the Bayer 3 in 1 on your roses previously. Are you not using that at all anymore? I know it covers insects and black spot.
Destination wedding i with food trucks. Adventures at Creekside. Not sure how you’d find the time. College degree for the kids food and entertainment. Just an idea I’d Love. Have a Great Day!
I bought the soil drench for aphids and it works! My roses are shiny and glorious and bugs aren’t chewing on them. Woo hoo thanks Jenny for that recommendation!! 🦋🌹
Wonderful! Happy to hear the positive feedback!
What was it called? I have terrible aphids in pa

Your patio and surrounding beds and planters are so beautiful! 🙂
Looking good Jenny; only thing tho, the emitters you used to connect the extra drip line were the wrong thing to use. I'm so happy for you! I'm hoping to do the same thing for my property and my sons weddings.
Everything is going to be beautiful fir the wedding
Those dang caterpillars LOVE to chew on my roses! I get aphids too, but the saw tooth fly larvae are my nemesis. Can't wait to try the soak this year!
Deb here. My hibiscus get the saw tooth larvae and we spray with BT which targets just the worm and does not hurt other types of insects that are beneficial. We spray a couple if times.
Speaking of annuals, mine from creekside arrived today packaged beautifully and everyone looks fantastic! Thank you creekside team ! 🤗
Woohoo!!!!
Thank you for sharing about the Fetilome. Ordered some.
Our pleasure!
Love Torenia! It’s so pretty and vigorous! Can’t wait to see this patio mature! Thanks for the drench tip.

I’m jealous, beautiful patio. Where I live zone 4a we’re getting snow next week, ugh.
Love your channel! I get so excited to see what’s next as you prepare for your summer events! Thanks for sharing all of your gardening wisdom. 🌸

Great day of planting. Going to look amazing. Thanks again for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I’m anxious to see right before the wedding! Gorgeous💕🌸
I got my first daffodil blooms yesterday here in Eastern Canada zone 5. Your garden gives me hope that spring is coming!!
Your home and garden are so beautiful! You guys work very hard and it shows, love the videos 👍😎❤️
Thx for the reminder my friend to do the drench! Those pesky Japanese Beetles decimated my climbing hydrangea & Thundercloud Plums too last summer! Added to my to do list
Don't remember if you fertilize your roses more than your spring application. Loving your videos, wish they were every day!
Yes I use Rose-tone once a month during the season per their recommendation 😊
You worked so hard today Jenny, I don't have soil I can work yet but boy do you have me itching for it.
Full day for you, Saffron Finch are going to be beautiful in this area.
Good morning from Hendersonville, plan to see you on Friday. Annual GO time, I hope….😊
We look forward to seeing you - it's supposed to be a gorgeous day!
My boxwoods are so hard to trim with an electric trimmer. You made it look so easy!
Oh I am so excited. Sitting here watching Jenny plant annuals with envy, and I get my first notice from Creekside that my pre-ordered plants are shipping. Happy day!
Live seeing all the new areas that you have made beautiful.

In my VA Zone 7A/now B, Cardoon is either biennial or perennial. I suspect it is the same for you. 😊
Good morning 🌞
Good morning!
Thanks JENNY great demo and explaining all the products thanks for links ..BEAUTIFUL flower beds & new pretty added flowers💖👍👍

Yes they are! We offer them in the fall as components for fall containers.

Is your flower color theme tied to the wedding colors?
ty for sharing your blessings big hugs from Coco 🌺

I’m curious about seeing you use a 2 gph emitter in place of a 1/4” coupler, aren’t you restricting water pressure that way? Looks pretty!
Won't your cleome, saffron finch petunias, and terillias(sic) draw up the drench and kill the bees? According to the directions, it seems to be in the pollen and nectar as well as the leaves and stems.
Hi Jenny everything looks good how is the giant hydrangea doing that you move from the side of your home
The ascott raibow euphorbia is such a beautiful plant! Do they require pruning/cutting back? I lost mine last season after I cut them back in spring after they bloomed. We're a zone 7.

When you use the Fertilome tree and shrub stuff can you pour it over your layer of rock “mulch” or do you have to pull it to the side?
Have a question. we are 8b and we are still in the 50 degrees as our Daffodils are just finished. Primrose are just started to bloom so what can I plant that is.frost free to plant? Our climate is si different from your but the Zone is close, don't quite understand.
The tree and shrub drench is it ok if it gets near perennials I have roses and other shrubs that have perennials fairly close together ?
Do you take back the empty pots and planters for reusing at the nursery?
Some can be reused and some can’t (especially if the dog gets a hold of them 😉)
Hi Jenny, have you ever had an issue with rose rosette disease? Just curious. Everything looks beautiful and I can't wait to see it progress through the summer.
I have not personally but we have numerous customers who have ☹️
Jenny, would the Fertilome be safe to use on Camillas? I have two Camillas with chewed leaves. I enjoyed this video so much! Thank you!
ZONE 9A: I used your idea to place Cleome between my Azaleas. This was a great video. Which irrigation brand are you using?
You are very informative and I love this about you. Thank you! Do you ever run into snaked under your shaded plants/shrubs. I am thinking about planting some Hostas but an nervous about snakes being under the leaves?
Every once and awhile I will run into one of our black snakes. I’m not sure who scares who more 🤣
Thank you😂 I gotta get brave and just plant those beautiful hostas. Thank you😊
When do your gardenias bloom? I have the steady as she goes and no blooms yet
Senorita Rosalita gets huge, like shrub size huge. I had to pull my one out last year because it was overwhelming everything around it.
We plan to keep ours pruned
The patio is looking beautiful! I remember you using the Bayer 3 in 1 on your roses previously. Are you not using that at all anymore? I know it covers insects and black spot.
I use it & have had good results thus far.
Why no irrigation on the patio beds?
Hi Jenny!! I'm in love with your succulent pot next to the boxwood at the beginning of the video. Do you mind sharing where did you buy it?❤
We have them available at the nursery!
@GardeningwithCreekside Awesome!! Can you share the link please? Can you ship to Georgia? I would love to buy one!
My roses are loaded with aphids right now 😢 I need to find some fertilome ASAP
Do you put bio-tone in your raised beds along with the Land and Sea?
Yes, I believed we showed that 😊
Got excited about the product for my roses but find out is banned here in Massachusetts 😩 they won't ship to me 🥺
So hard ordering online when it is go time! We cant plant yet 😔
Destination wedding i with food trucks. Adventures at Creekside. Not sure how you’d find the time. College degree for the kids food and entertainment. Just an idea I’d Love. Have a Great Day!
Is there a drench for fungus?
Can you use the drench on Annuals?
Yes
Completely off topic but...what is the color of the siding on your house?
Classic French Grey
@GardeningwithCreekside it's very nice..Thank you!
Hi 👋 Jenny
