at some point though things would decline or end up the same way in maybe a less severe capacity. If they just continued to do sniping and trick shooting videos they would never grow and especially now that whole scene is pretty much dead faze would have also declined. It was inevitable, and unfortunately faze is sort of a thing of the past to an extent
They were the Walmart of trickshotting/feed sniping sucking up all the competition around them just to stray away from recording clips and producing montages. Then the community they leeched off just dried up and died. I miss it. People will never understand why the subculture of trickshotting was so fucking insane and the chances of something like that existing in a community that was already big in itself was close to zero. Literally created a game within it's own game and they sucked it dry and it's no more

They all got a couple mill, it’s just that only rain, adapt, banks, and tommy were viewed as the only pillars of faze to corporate, they gave them 18-20 mil each then only gave teeqo, blaze, jev, etc bread crumbs. Rain tried standing up for them and the ‘pillars’ all agreed until rain found out adapt had already signed the original shitty agreement, and the rest of the pillars we’re gonna follow. Rain explained this all.

Well there’s no money to throw them now. That’s why things are coming out because it’s a last ditch effort. Faze last financial releases states it only has enough cash through 2023. They are about to be bankrupt and this is them trying to save their brand that they’ve built since teenagers. It’s hard to understand but once you go corporate people come in who’s interests at the end of the day is for the shareholders and their own interests to boost their bonuses and unfortunately going public just about really put the founders and others in poor positions to do any sort of change

Just for clarity - if you own shares, you can sell the shares. For example, Elon Musk can sell all of his shares of Tesla at any point if he wants. However, it’s illegal to do if he knows the company is committing fraud and trying to get out. In this case, if the CLO sold shares “behind your back” that’s completely fine. Maybe she saw the writing on the door due to terrible management and ownership. You can’t just say that’s insider trading. Shows how little these guys actually understand business - their feelings got hurt because business people didn’t disclose everything.

Although I understand to a degree what he's saying the fact of the matter is if you watched FaZe from 2010-2014 you saw a change in most of the members when they went to L.A. FaZe didn't just stop becoming popular because of the corporation side but the lack of care they seemingly had. Many of the members stopped uploading as much, call of duty died, and it went from relatable gamers to a bunch of materialistic unrelatable guys showing us they're new gucci bags and super cars every few days. They got complacent, some started abusing drugs or became different people, and all around they became Lazy and unrelatable not to mention the countless controversies over the years. To some degree they have to take accountability for the fall, they were the ones who put the people in place. It's no different than Logan pauls crypto scam, blaming the people HE PICKED TO HIRE instead of taking accountability. Saying "I didn't know it would end up like this" is no excuse. Take accountability ffs.

Bro I love nordan, I love all the faze guys and faze itself. However they clearly have not learned from past mistakes. Nordan is still out here blaming everyone else for his mistakes. When you conduct business in the manner that you guys did, it will fail. I don’t really need to mention their mistakes. He mentions a few here and doesn’t even realize it. And that’s before we talk about the instability of nordan and banks. It was simply kids that did not know the business ways, got happy with the money they were shown when UA-cam views and the way they were compensated for said views changed.
