They could've added so many things to make this bosses drops better without adding power creep or GP. Arbuk seeds, necro runes or impure runes, ectoplasm, etc

I got the pet at kill 26 on normal mode. That alone made the underwhelming loot drops worthwhile.
Watch them nerf Rasial's drops instead
thats exactly what happened with me and some clannies, we grinded about an hour to an hour and a half to get our first hm vorkath kill and once we finally did we opened our chests and got a whopping 100-200k
SOME tweaks? they need to make it literally 10x better at least to make it worth it... like wtf?

The lowest value ive had from my normal mode chest is 36k
They could add wayyyy more elder spirits, those things are above the log cost right now and using them in construction is over 40 gp/xp

I agree with what you said I enjoy the boss to a degree and keep going back hopeful of the good drops but as a meh pvm player after grinding through quests etc to get my tier 90 and then spending around 10 mins a kill to get like 1/500k is very disheartening especially when like you say the resources involved are expensive
You got super lucky with the spikes. Me on the other hand, 60 hm kills I’ve gotten around 15m in drops with no rares and a loss in money when it comes to supplies used. Only a Draconic visage smh. This loot sucks lol

What were you using that cost 20m an hour upkeep? Grimoire, reaver and I'm guessing you ranged/maged with t92 and rune/arrow cost?
With that said, this boss could really use some guaranteed ancient scales on the drop table. Getting the spikes is already going to be a nightmare for irons, the ancient scales is just to absolutely shit on them. Even with 1-3 scales guaranteed the scales should retain decent value (especially with 2 T92 sets needing them) and it'd make the boss worth doing.

If we compare this boss in hm to lets say zammy 200% which both have similar times the loot difference is absurd.
And imo hm vorkath is harder

They should add separate vorkath and zemorg instances that’s basically slayer boss tier, vork drops the range stuff, and zemorg drops necro stuff, and the combined fight we have now gets a new drop table, where (if they don’t add a new unique) atleast the common drops are consistent money

jmods mentioned that if loot is buffed, old chests wont be updated to have the new loot. So there's no reason to keep chests in the hopes of a loot buff.
They said if loot table change happens the chest. Loot wont change it will stay on old loots

I was thinking of going for the armour on my Ironman. that doesn't bode well. the loot items look somewhat useful, but the quantities are kinda underwhelming.

Lowest level to try is 3. Not very likely to be a successful run though.

spikes are going for 15m each and he got 200m worth so add that in there

Wow hm is for sure not worth... In my 38 nm kills i got 17 spikes, 2 drops of 6 and a drop of 5. They all sold for ~10m each so like 170m in 2 hours (the first hour was doing the quest and learning so slow kills lol)

it kinda makes me sick I could frame 10m elder logs for the gear needed to pvm because I cannot borrow rasials for about a half an hour.
Honestly, the normal mode loot isn’t terrible? 2:30 solos, and in 24 chests yesterday I managed 11 spikes worth about 9m each.
That's pretty lucky from the rates that have been going around. Personally at 84kc with 4 spikes

Hopefully they adjust drop table because for average person who want pouch for ease during slayer and other boss it's little crazy just to have burn money to get it. If made it tradable i'd be content I much rather spend 500mil to buy it then use 250mil , use some "easy" method someone post to do boss soon in like 10-15hr grind. Grinding a boss with shit loot, just because I want 1 item that is marked as untradable but got just take a huge loss ...is unappealing. Maybe if you call your self a pvm-r it's fun update , for people refer themselves as skilled more then pvm. I see this as huge turn off. Not saying it need be huge money, but at least make it worth something for the amount of focus. All attention you need to pay toward it, to get nothing is... just ... b/s. I wouldn't have issue with pouch being untradable if new armor and spike were untradable too.

yesterday was around 17m a spike and some ppl even 22m i seen to day like 12-15m depending on who u buy of coz ge limit is 10

Are there any quests or other bs I gotta do to fight this boss? I got 99 necormancy and did the quests but by the time I attempted to do the dungeoneering diaries I had had enough of questing al mini quests and cutscenes so I never bothered to fight the necromancer and haven't logged back in since. I'm maxed again and that's good enough for me as I don't have enough time to cover the insane amount of time it takes to learn a new boss and kill it 1k+ times for the good drops. (I'm the guy who can't kill dragons in osrs because they took away the ability to use an antifire shield without doing dragonslayer and Ill be damned if I have to do that questline again, also before necromancy quests I had 179 qp in rs3, had like 150 when I first maxed)

The mods already said that if they buff the loot, the old chests will still have the old loot in it. Rather open your chests, trying to save you from sadness😂 if you don't believe me then go look it up

Personally I'm not a huge fan of vorkath so far... the minions in the overworld pre boss fight eat through your supplies and the giants have a ton of health and hit hard. I've been skipping disabling bone spikes and just disabling minions at the font but my kill times are still like 8 minutes with t90 gear, the normal loot really isn't great enough for me to want to farm the boss and I can get better loot faster at other bosses that don't eat through my supplies
imo just start the boss fight, i used nothing killing the one giant to start the fight in normal mode and then used nothing again during the normal mode fight first try. it shouldnt be a challenge
Not a good look for jagex, they have been rolling out unfinished products way too often as of late.
Maybe I'm just a boomer, but having all the loot be in a chest like that feels so fucking RSPS-y. How long before you can get them from treasure hunter. Not that you'd want to because the drops seem kind of ass. I'm really scared for this game man. I've put a significant portion of my limited human life into it. and I don't regret it, I had fun doing it. But I'd like to continue to do so into the future.
Not even touching on the fact that I exclusively play ironman, and ever since the death cost rework everything has just been made ridiculously rare so you have to trade for stuff to help siphon GP out of the game. It's pretty obvious they barely consider ironman when thinking of these things. Which is a shame because I feel like the game would be healthier over all for everyone if they did.
Grand exchange mid price =/= real price. Vorkath spikes went for 20m each on the street during the time you recorded this
Yeah and once the boss is farmed out those spikes will be so cheap leaving nothing desirable from the boss. They could have made the commons better instead of this.

@@TheRSGuy If you sold them on the street you'd have gotten 20m each for them at that time. But you counted them as 1m each in your video. It'd bump up your gains by a bunch. Still a low amount of gains though compared to other high tier bosses!

I love RS3 and I've been playing RS in general since 2006 but new bosses being released is kinda depressing for me because I'll never be good enough to beat them, I've tried to learn and I've tried to understand the skill rotations I'm just old and tired and I have never been great at these kinds of things so watching this type of content makes me feel kind of involved in new updates, especially when this guy is so positive and informative about literally everything hah.
In my first kill I got 50k and didn't burn billions. I think I did better of 😂

Hm.. glad i didn't come back for this. Been enjoying the old school league for the time being, was hoping Vorkath would've been better..
I mean that’s kind of the problem Jagex has to work around. You don’t want to disappoint the player that is taking all day to get a kill, but if you don’t then the player that’s playing for 14 hours on release and is able to kill it 50x an hour by end day, ruins the boss for the entire community in about a month.

Typical jagex looks like complete garbage. Vorkath in osrs was and still is a money maker.
Come on Ryan, saying the boss fight is "fun". There is no telegraphing of attacks there is too much going on overlapping each other making it very difficult to even understand what is happening. You are just taking random damage constantly with no indicators to what it is. I spent a couple of hrs doing hm and was no closer to actually learning any mechanics than when i started. Also i refuse to believe the blue shit kills familiars.
This is why I no longer play RS3. New content is bad and EoC is still bad too. All the good stuff is hidden behind paywalls and game is just tailored for hardcore fans that dont play any other game (sad). I'd rather watch paint dry than try to boss with EoC

i get that some people only like watching their gp stack go up, but what about those that like actual challenge.
once youve got a 30b+ raw gp stack, profit starts to become less...exciting. theres nothing left but to stand at ge, flexing a total wealth eval that noone cares about.
i just want to make it clear that im not trying to bash on those that value gp over everything. its valid. but they aint the only people that play.
