STORY BEHIND THE SONG
Psalm 51:1 says that King David wrote this psalm when the prophet Nathan confronted him about his affair with Bathsheba. This story is recorded in 2 Samuel 12. David's sin of adultery followed by murder (attempting to cover up his affair) would cost him the life of his son. Verse 15 says, "...the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife had bore to David and he became very sick. David therefore sought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in and lay all night on the floor." (TLV)
This is when these words were first prayed. A desperate prayer, on the floor, all night long, for seven days. Begging for the life of his child. Begging for grace. For unmerited favor. To be made clean. To be restored. To rejoice again.
It's a good prayer.

Something glorious just occured this Sabbath Saturday morning at 5:22am September 30th 2023. I live in California and it is rough. I know all over it's getting harsh, but I'm in God's Bossom. We will be ok, bones broken, but we rejoice in the Lord Jesus the Christ. I don't understand it but my soul does. For now i shed tears of joy. Thank you God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

A powerful prayer, and so anointed. I felt like David was bowed down with his face to the floor, singing it himself. Thank you Aaron for being an instrument in His hand.
Yes David was at the threshing floor. God Almighty did take His Holy Spirit away from David, both David and Asaph wrote all that anointed beautiful poetry because what the devil meant for evil God turned it into something good. David lamented in the bitter cup and the pool of bitter water. But David's salvation will be restored according to Heavenly Fathers good will and pleasure. Amen Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price to make it possible but David had to go through the repentance process and atone the best he could and it still wasn't enough but Jesus Christ bore the brunt and we'll all of the penalty but nevertheless we have to try it's work with all the senses and faculties that we possess as human beings. God is loving comforting and merciful. Amen

So, I have been listening to this song every Shabbat and on repeat, and then all these days thru my current battle as it is so inspiring, as is "My Help", and "Worthy"... however it was always by speaker audio. This is the first time I have listened with headphones, and wow brother. That heartbeat in the song I have never heard before, but it is so artistically and beautifully done...

Dear Aaron....this song has touched my Spirit like no other. I am in a dark place in my life...the darkest I have ever experienced....this song pierced the darkness I felt was surrounding me. God has used it to show me that HE is stronger than the darkness within myself and all around me. It's all about Him. Only He can create clean hearts in our dark hearts and renew our passion for him and love for others. Praise be to Him forever and ever and ever. Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples the night before He went to the cross. Mark 14:22-25. Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay for all our sins. 1 John 2:1-2.
He died on our behalf! We believe in Him and who He is, trusting the shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins, and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day for our eternal life! John 20:24-31. HE LIVES EVERMORE!
We can live forever through Him. God forgives our sins through Him otherwise our sins will prevent us from living in Glory with Him and our family in the faith the Bible describes. We study to show ourselves approved in wisdom and further truths about Him! We are in a family! God's family. CHRIST'S BRIDE! We got to know Jesus Christ better and better!
Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more than, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."

Just wanted to share something about these songs. So they've been reaching me for a minute. I absolutely love that these are all Scripture! So, in my playlist, songs like this pop up now. Well, my soon to be 8 year old son has a Bible that is specifically for church that stays in the car (they all have the same Bible). He saw the Scripture pop up in the title and unbeknownst to me starts looking for the Scripture. When the song is almost over he goes "yep. Thats right. Thats Psalms (he says "palms" lol) 51. I was shocked. On his own this boy opened his Bible to the Psalm that was playing. Thank you for a moment I will never forget. And now, it's become a "thing". Everytime one of your songs or another artist I know who does the Psalms comes on, he sees it and opens his Bible. Your obedience to the Lord is truly impacting generations. 🙏
