HI IF YOU WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HAVE THE ALUMINIUM PARTS IN A SET, GIVE ME A COMMENT, I WILL TRY MY BEST. Here are the 3D files & building manual -> www.thingiverse.com/thing:4676821 *Would love if you say hi and subscribe
Excellent video! I've wanted to build my own cnc for a while, but its an undertaking I'm not ready for yet. It was great seeing how you upgraded the components and watching it chew through metal at the end. I look forward to seeing how it evolves even more!
@@3dtecstudio Definetly something compact and simple! My shop's quite small at the moment. I had a 3018 for a little while, but never used it or installed the upgrades I needed. I've always wanted to machine custom brackets for parts and also make moulds for injection moulding, combined with a custom injection moulding machine (which I really should make as well.) Practicality wise it's not the best in terms of time and money, but it would be fun.
Great Project, i love it ! Do you found someone for a kit of the aluminium parts like u wrote on your thingiverse site ? I would be interested in a kit of the aluminium parts, because at the moment i dont have the possibility to mill aluminium.
Thank you man! I can check it, but I think it would be better if there are more people to find a good scale price. So hopefully the video will be seen by some more people who also want a Kit! :D
@@3dtecstudio makes sense it looked a little fat just never seen one that looked like that. Sorry was just skimming video for upgrade ideas. About to cut all my metal to get mine assembled this week hopefully

Awesome! I love the fact that some parts are recognizeable from the dremel CNC but that thing now is a different kind of beast!
Thanks for your feedback! So this was basically the idea, so that you can slowly progress from Dremel CNC to a more rigid one :D

Hi Tommy, thanks for your feedback, means a lot! What kind of CNC you want to build, do you have an idea of which project? :)

@@TommyHoughton sounds like you have a plan :D
I requested it. Thank you so much. I really appreciate. :D
Np. Any other ideas for vids? :D
Very neat, I have a spare 3d printer I would like to use and turn into a c&c machine. This is great inspiration.
Go for it! :D
Great project.. you can move the X threaded rod to the back of the carriage, just to reduce possible damage by the chips and premature wear.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Great idea, maybe when I rework it, I could implement your idea. Thanks for reaching out.
Great job!
Thanks ! :)
Thanks for sharing your build. Have you thought of using ball screws instead of lead screws?
Hi, thanks for reaching out! Yes of course I also designed the version / adapter for it but than I never did it, actually. Maybe one day :D
Hi! Where do you get aluminum? I want a couple of inches.
pcbway can proberly cut em and sent them

whats the apox total cost? have you tested it vs a 200$ chepo one?
puhhh i don´t know the exact costs, because I slowly upgraded more and more, but it performs for sure better than the 200$ china one :D
Ok
all that and still using a dremil
@@shrimpinpat hi bro it is not a dremel its a 1,05 kW AMB milling spindle :D
