  • I explain the characteristics of the 17m 18MHz amateur radio band

    Technical information: All my videos are shot using a GoPro 10, Insta 360X and a DJI Mini. I use a variety of microphones to suit the shots.

    I love 17m, i was on FT8 at 10watts, and made some nice DX contacts, great fun

    Local group looking for a home band. 10m isnt up to the challenge. We dont care about contests or nothing like that. Just local group up to 150 miles or so. Is 17 the band?

      Depends upon the time of day. 80m might be a good choice in the evenings.

      @@g3cwi_Radio_Adventures we use 11 and 10 now. Ww need more consistency and range
