What do you want to be in focus? Now it's the Orange. If you add a Flower it will distract the attention from the Orange. It is all up to want you want ;-)

Just finished your original tutorial, the extra orange and peel makes it way more interesting, brilliant Stephen, I think a lilac flower would be good.

Hello Stephen I watched pt 1 and 2 the finished product was wonderful , I have seen the add on and I'm not keen , just a flower and a few petals on the table would finish it 😊

Thank you Ian...yes im not sure myself. I may just take it out and add the flower..its always tricky when painting..its difficult to know if something will look ok..

Why don’t you take a sheet of acetate, paint the flower on the acetate and tack it over where you would like it to appear?
