About half way through this episode I realized… this whole compound has come so far. I stumbled upon it out of college is 2020 and it’s like watching a show by a major studio these days. Kudos to Duncan and Co behind the scenes
Imho, this was the best episode ever! I did not know that Joe had approached Schwab way back in the day. Oh boy, the transition to TD Ameritrade was one I would rather not ever think about again. Which shows what an amazing job, in general, Schwab managed to do to bring in TDA. I always thought that Joe was older, he has a lot to offer still and glad that he is going to.
Great show, and I am not a Financial Advisor, but love learning about this stuff (yes I am a history nerd). Is Unlock only available for Financial Advisors and not us mere mortals because I find your content so well presented and easy to absorb no matter who you are?
At 9:45, he says “my girlfriend got pregnant” (instead of the usual saying “I got my girlfriend pregnant”) Josh should have stopped him there and asked him, who got her pregnant? LoL!
Covered AMTD, NDB, SCHW, etc and brought TDWaterhouse public. Moglia had just arrived on the scene, was obvious he’s a gifted and tough C-level manager. Woke snowflakes would not last long in any Moglia operation. For ex, look how he ran this show, which isn’t even his lol.
Great interview. I hope he made millions or billions of dollars, and made his ex-wife realize how bad she screwed up by divorcing him. The best revenge is success.
thanks Joe Moglia, a whirlwind of a guy, both interesting and impressive. (a perfect candidate for "ready, aim fire" ua-cam.com/video/3WHSkbM9zAU/v-deo.htmlsi=soIetJdZzhkofIZh)

Never heard of this guy before today but this was a sleeper episode in terms of being unexpectedly excellent.
Same, and he sounds like Joe Pesci.
This guy made me a lot of money when he was Head Coach of Coastal Carolina.
What a great guest! That was a blast.
Cliff Knows 🥳🥳🥳✌️
Agreed. Top notch.
@@midwestcannabis MWC! Hope you and the family have a great long weekend!

It IS a show by a major studio. 😉
Wonderful discussion. Hopefully Joe gets a book written one day about leadership as he is one hell of an excellent example of what a great leader is.
Great show, great guest, when is he coming back? Love you guys, and thanks for all you do.
Another great show guys, and Joe Moglia was really interesting, but, boy, he was such a fast talker! Good stuff!

Great show. Thanks for letting Joe detail his career.
Being a student at CCU with Joe was a great time for football!
Great guest and episode!! I could have listened a couple of more hours of the discussion.
25 minutes in and I've never heard Batnick so silent. Everything alright Michael? Remember you Are the Bald Batman 🤙
Michael GOATnick does look a little down
the Knicks are out of the playoffs
His dog just passed give him a break …..
Knicks lost
If its about the dog, terribly sorry for the loss, its really impactful for someone.
Joe is an American Treasure
Party On With THE COMPOUND AND FRIENDS AND $NVDA 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
This guest is awesome! Like others I also didn’t recognize the name, but it turns out he played a significant role in the industry.
I did not know his back story, amazing guest! luv the show guys..spike the ball!
Just catching up on episodes. Shoutout to Archmere Academy.
TD Ameritrade was so op
Very entertaining episode, and I really like his story.
Thanks for watching!
Vanguard website is not intuitive and clunky. (please censor this post. Lol).
100% correct!!!
Another great guest
GE is the only example I can think of where a reverse split worked out great.
It was one of the best interviews on this show. 10 year with TD, and I loved them. A few months now, with CS and meh.

Great guest, great show!
Guys, the theme song is fire. We want to hear it in the beginning 🔥
Great interview!
The best
I listened to the podcast first and expected this guy to look like Joe Paterno. He looks great for his age!
interesting episode but I don't believe for a second that Robinhood didn't pressure everyone to $0 trades.
First time I remember Josh didn't ask what numer show at the clap!
Vanguard needs better technology
What regulation forbids Roaring Kitty from tweeting a meme?
Did he say “Navidia?”
mogged us all

This lad is nuts, can't help the feeling that he got those great returns by getting his heavies to force some share sales at gunpoint

We sold at 1085... Oops! Lol

Why take sides? Sounds like he was almost never around and they had 4 kids super young with no money. I'm sure he's taken care of all of them.
@@joelhawes7749 I guess. He does sound like an amazing guy all around, and a great dad.
Nice history lesson but it did nothing for me. I don't think you can manufacture a leader, you either have the leader gene or you don't.

Not the best episode to be honest. Huge fan of almost everything you guys do, but this was just a discussion about your industry not investing.
Why drag them down? Look at their viewer counts and you'll note they aren't getting paid to do this.
So?
Actors know their done.. sunsetting for likes of scarlettJo
