Today Tank & Nugget went to their new family. It's going very well. They live in the Netherlands and very close. We will see them regularly and I will share the videos with you. Tank & Nugget are together. Tomorrow calm boy will go to his new family. The other puppies don't look surprised now, they don't notice anything. Neither is Loulou and she is lying with me now and hoping she will get a bite of my piece of cake. Yes I miss Tank & Nugget (now called Wouter & Pip) I have pain in my heart but I know that they are with a loving family and there is no lack of care and attention. Xxx Eveline

One of mine as well. I tune in to ...remember and enjoy the beauty of the Doxie breed. Fortunately I still have my old girl with me but she misses her mate even more than I do Im sure.
Those faces....OMG!! Just pure love. I never dreamed I would ever own a wiener but I rescued my Bella. I also rescued my chihuahua who I have had for 16 years. When Leo crosses the Rainbow Bridge my goal is to rescue an older dog. I want that dog to have a good end of life and that I will love them unconditionally!!

My mini doxie Dolly girl is 1yr &5 months old. Took her 2 days to learn how to shake. Sit and sit pretty was easiest. Totally obsessed with eachother. Best dogger (daughter) I could ever have❤

I LOVE this video.. Captures what Dachshunds are all about.. I have had many dog breeds large and small over the years. Now I have two black and rust Dachshunds.. male and a female. They are the most loyal..The most loving .affectionate, curious, territorial , entertaining creatures I have ever been around. They go to work with me everyday and customers just can't get enough of them. I just love em!

Not even my puppies and I share pain in heart. We cannot escape the inevitable but there is still ache. I am so happy Tank and Nugget will stay together. They appear to like each other. I once got an 8 week old Llasa about 2.5 hour drive from home..she didn’t appear to want connection on drive home. She got out of car went to front door and sat there as if to say this is my new home..I will be happy here..I grew to love her with my whole being.

I, like some of your other followers, am broken hearted to see the pups split up. They look like they are having a great time together. I loved seeing the scamper to the kitchen for dinner. the pitter patter of all those little feet brought a smile to my face. But that quickly faded when it was announced the breakup of the pups. I hope lu lu takes it well.

Hi Eveline, don't be sad. Puppies really want to go to new families. I don't know why, but from 8 weeks on, it is as though they really, really want to go. And mums won't mourn them. Loulou will soon feel a burden off her wonderful heart. Only humans mourn...
Dachshunds mourn. Even if they do get distracted by food, they definitely mourn missing family members. My dear departed Kaatje mourned my grandmother with whom she had a close bond. I do not doubt that Loulou will miss them as well.

Here in the US puppies are often taken from their mothers at 6 weeks which is too early in my opinion. They miss out on a lot of schooling from their mother and litter mates. There is or was a breeder near us that didn't place their pups until 12 weeks which seem too long since the new family will miss out on the early puppy antics. Congratulations in raising this thundering litter and saving LouLou's health. May their new families treat them as well as you have.
We all knew this day was coming. We miss them already so I can only imagine how painful it is for you and your family. Happy to hear though that you'll still be able to share some future updates on them. Eveline you and your family, and Lou Lou raised some beautiful puppies. We adopted two Doxie brother and sister one long haired one short haired like yours. They're still together and sleep all snuggled under the covers just like they did I'm sure before they were born! We have also had the pleasure of having a mother daughter Duo of bigger dogs in the past. Both are wonderful combinations. All of yours are so lucky! I have enjoyed watching them, usually after a hectic day at work in the dark on the deck it is very calming thank you for everything that you do you do a wonderful job and so do your Littles!

We have also had the pleasure of having a mother daughter Duo of bigger dogs in the past. Both are wonderful combinations. All of yours are so lucky! I have enjoyed watching them, usually after a hectic day at work in the dark on the deck it is very calming thank you for everything that you do you do a wonderful job and so do your Littles!

Those pups are beyond adorable and a credit to the love and care you've given them. Going to miss watching them running around. But tiny Loulou and Coco will fill the empty gap we are all going to feel. What an amazing experience this has been, being able to be part of the pup's lives. My eyes are heavy and my nose stings cuz iam gonna miss the kids, but we all knew they were gonna be going soon, but we just get so attached to these amazing doxies.. Iam very bonded to doxies, cuz ive had 2 females and both of my girls are missed so much and watching loulou and her kids have been and are a blessing.. My last doxie i had, was loulou down to a tee, even the demeanor was spot on like loulous.. Ty.. Btw i also enjoy your other kids too, not just doxies, but yes doxies have stolen my heart always..
