Saginaw, Texas Lao New Year is one of America’s largest Lao New Year events, if not the largest. The parade at Saginaw Lao New year is definately the largest and rowdiest (and fun!) in the country.
Amanda and I decided to hop on the Lao Nation float at this year’s Lao New Year event. We quickly learned… you will find out in this video. 😉 This is a longer video as I wanted to show people what it’s actually like to be on a float at the parade. The dance floor was hopping afterwards and I included that in the footage as well.

Looks like fun happy extended traveling Lao New year. bathing it lao pride and lao partying and yes bathing cause of all those water balloons. I love all the little problems did not dim the fun. I also love the music I do not know much about lao music I know a bit more about cambodian music pre kamah rouge rock music.
Cambodian and Lao music share a lot of similarities (as do the cultures), and of course they have differences as well.
