This has been a lifesaver!! I’ve been sewing with regular machines since I was a kid but this thing intimidated me when I first got it! Thank you so much for helping me successfully thread my machine! I’m still going to need to watch this each time until I get the hang of it!
I bought one of these off of amazon earlier this year, and I've actually been pretty impressed with it, considering the price. The only real complaint I have is that it is kinda loud when sewing at high speed, but it is fast and puts down really consistent stitches. Not bad at all for $200.
Thank you for this video! The “instructions” are only as good as the pictures. I printed the owner’s manual, but it wasn’t clear either. I have already returned one & got a replacement. Today was the last day for it…but now I am keeping it! Again, thank you for the video!!
im debating whether to use Fingerhut and pay 299 or Amazon and pay 199- the first one is 18 bucks a month,,, and I don't care- I have been wanting one for years
@@SingerSewingCompany I've contacted Singer they told me that the Singer HEAVY DUTY Overlocker machine can serge multiple layers of denim? Can you confirm that? Also denim requires size 16 needles. Where can I find domestic overlocker needles in that size? Can I use industrial overlocker needles size 16 on this machine?
Love the video! Every time I stitch, somewhere during the process my 4th thread or second needle thread comes unthreaded and stops sewing. Can you assist in what I should do to prevent that?
No matter how much I adjust tension on a four-thread stitch on my S0230, the left needle seams are still loose and very visible (at least 1/8 inch long ladder) on the right side of fabric when the seam is opened. What am I doing wrong? Is there another setting I should be adjusting?
If a needle thread breaks, You can usually just rethread the needle. If a looper breaks, you need to rethread all the way. All the threads need to cross over or under each other in the correct order for your serger to stitch properly!

I watched the video and threaded the machine. When I press on my presser foot my machine just hums like it is running but nothing happens. I rechecked the threading and tried again. Same thing happened.

@SingerSewingCompany Can I use Style 2054-06 needles with this serger for sewing jersey?
We recommend using overlock needles on your serger. They have a special coating that helps to eliminate excess friction on the thread.

No, you do not. yo can choose to use just the right or just the left needle.

needles for this serger can be found online. I pick up a few packages on Amazon that are made for sergers.
I bought a serger singer ,I was sewing and it stopped sewing like no power ,but the light comes on. Any ideas
