Yeah that's exactly right, I was thinking the other day - sweet I should finish AQ and do a new game, except there's 100s left :-D Recording the tutorials has massively slowed down my figure output :-( was doing 3-7 a week before, now 1-2 :-(
Which Army Painter Zombicide is Bright gold from? I am looking at the 3 sets - Prison, Survivors and Core and do not see it in any of them. :) Edit: nevermind I see it's in the Black Plague set. :)
I do have a gold. :) My husband backed a Reaper mini KS many years ago and got a ton of minis (he plays D&D) plus a lot of paint. I am about to start painting some of the minis in my board games (I've painted 4 of the classes for Gloomhaven but have not found the minis to be great quality, as well as the rats from Mice and Mystics) and am working on replacing his paints that are no longer useable/used and adding more washes/coordinating paints. It looks like you use a lot of the paints from the Zombicide sets and they seem like a good variety of colours. I'm also "patiently' :P waiting for Massive Darkness and hope to follow along for tips on painting it as you paint yours (and suspect you'll be using a lot of the paints from those Zombicide sets hah). Anywho, all that to say I ordered the Army Paint Zombicide - core, survivors, black plague sets. lol I would have used your links to help support as you have amazing videos but I'm Canadian. If I were in the UK I would have 100% done so. I've binge watched all your AQ/Masmorra vids and they are the first ones that I've watched where the explanation is clear, concise and have a MUCH better understanding of washes and layering of paints for highlights etc. I have also noticed through the progression of videos how your technique has improved and how you've learned/changed some things of how you paint. :D
Glad you found a gold, I have 4 different golds... I'm not even sure why, and I use about 1 of them :-D Oh excellent, painting the board games makes them feel way better when you're playing them! I hate playing my unpainted games in comparison. I've heard Gloomhaven minis aren't the best (not bad by any standards but compared to some other games). Good choice on paints, I've done A LOT of different models with just those Army Painter kits, you will get a lot of mileage with those colours, and slowly I just buy individual colours to build up my pool. Thanks for at least trying with the links :-) I'm really unsure how to actually get any support for this channel, I can see we're all based all over the world! So I don't think affiliate links will help much, unless I'm just doing it wrong! I need global links - which I kinda hoped Amazon would do. Maybe one day Patreon will take off! Watch It Paint It yeah the Gloomhaven ones are not as detailed as my AQ, MoM or other minis. You have to really guess. If you google the scoundrel, many people miss that she's wearing a mask. Global links on Amazon would work nicely I think. I ordered the zombicide sets (minis prisoners) on .ca and then went to my local game store for the Vajello paints. I say just keep painting and eventually you'll get a following and support. Your videos are really well done and as you've relaxed you've tossed out some funnies as you paint. Lol Maybe I'll post the minis I've painted so far from other games, would make a good comparison to see a before and after. Ha. I can say they definitely look better at a distance then close up.

I'll double check I'm not doing anything silly with Amazon links, I kinda hoped if you clicked the link - it would log any buys from any Amazon site against my details, but maybe that's wishful thinking! Yeah, you are probably right, I don't need much support, just want to upgrade my lighting next, so I can see - my lamp is still broken since like my 5th video :-D I aim to say about 1 amusing thing a video, we could make a game of trying to find the one thing I say! I just find there's so little time in the videos - because I try and make them quick, to say anything that isn't just trying to be helpful :-) That'd be awesome to watch your improvement progress with you! And you make a really good point - I don't mention it often in my videos, but in the videos, you are looking at the models much more closely than I can with my eyes, and even more so than you really even see them on the table. So when they look good on the video, they look amazing in real life etc.
