To everyone commenting on the bones: raw bones are good for dogs, it is COOKED bones that are bad because they undergo a chemical change during cooking (remember science class?) and they become brittle and indigestible. Worried about the bacteria? A non issue for dogs, cats, and other animals. Their digestive juices are stronger, and their g-tract shorter so they are custom made to handle raw-food bacteria. Chicken feet are excellent teeth scrubbers, and chock full of glucosamine, chondroitin, and collagen for joint health. The HUGE pet food industry doesn't want you to know this because they take everything not fit for human consumption and make it into dogfood...a HUGE billion dollar money making industry. This can include road kill, lab animals that die of who knows what, and cancerous meat.

We've been raw feeding our dog for years. She was so sick from commercial dog food, even the Rx stuff that we almost lost her. A raw diet saved her life. Raw bones are an important part of raw feeding. Its definitely scary the first few times but they are equipped with the tools to do the job. My dog is almost 8 now and her teeth are so beautiful, her breath is always good and her coat is soft and shiny. Chicken feet are a favorite. Even little dogs can handle a chicken foot.
My family also feed my dogs raw diet. My dogs would get really sick and lethargic from kibble, and wouldn’t play or do anything, just sleep all day. I have a daschund and a pug, and the pug started to rapidly gain weight. As soon as we switched, the difference was almost magical. They play almost all day, have tons of energy and personality, and have lost a good bit of weight. The pug went from obese to almost normal. It gets a little expensive, but any cost is worth it for them❤️

There are some frightening reviews on Amazon with evidence of certain popular healthy treats having cause death (like someone wasn't watching closely or they lived in a rural area and couldn't get help fast enough). Point being, they can choke on anything and something you'd never suspect. I learned some doggo heimlich maneuvers and clearing throat methods from a quick class and just supervise with anything that can fit in their mouth or be broken to do so. Major fear. But raw bones are definitely better for them safety and health wise than cooked.
Awww my dog used to go wild for chicken feet too! They were his favorite snack. We lost him in July 2020 and I miss him so much, but he had a quite a long and happy life and I’m so grateful for all the memories I have with him ❤️

Dogs are the best. I had a puppy as a boy and it was begging as i was eating a chicken curry so i put some chicken and rice in his bowl. He ate the rice and chicken but any time his nose touched the curry sauce he would growl at it!😂 Needless to say he took a while to finish the bits he wanted, what with the aggressive show he put on to frighten a blob of sauce🤭

You can buy bags of chicken claws in Oriental markets. They're mostly gristle, as far as I can tell. Their benefit is in making unctuous silky broths, filled with hyaluronic acid, which is wonderful for joints and skin. Makes delicious soups.

In my common knowledge .. like in my nation all pet dogs eat chicken with bones without a second thought. Their ancestors were actually wolves .. we give dogs less credit of their inherent toughness and nature. Always trying to protect them .. pets specially . In some cases it's necessary but not always . Just as in Humans , immunity is developed by actually being exposed to antigens, in Dogs "hardiness" is developed by just letting them b as close to their natural selves as we can .
Only when there cooked I used to work with someone who had there dogs on a raw diet and gave them chicken thighs everyday but yea as long as it's raw your dog's fine

My parent's dog does this. He runs away to his corner and celebrates. If we throw it for him he gets even more excited.

Their ancestors were actually wolves .. we give dogs less credit of their inherent toughness and nature. Always trying to protect them .. pets specially . In some cases it's necessary but not always . Just as in Humans , immunity is developed by actually being exposed to antigens, in Dogs "hardiness" is developed by just letting them b as close to their natural selves as we can .

Only when there cooked I used to work with someone who had there dogs on a raw diet and gave them chicken thighs everyday but yea as long as it's raw your dog's fine
