- Welcome to our Mid-century styled home! Thanks for watching our April Spring Tour video featuring cool and hot vintage CA splatter and drip glazed pottery! Lots of fun retro planters and vases with lush greenery to think about warmer days on the way, plus fun vintage fish and African animal ceramic figurines! More tours are coming soon! (BTW, it still snowed today here in MN, April 19th!)
We've always enjoyed thrifting and antiquing for vintage and MCM furniture, lighting, kitchen items, and fabulous accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find more fun vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. We look forward to reading your comments. We are very GRATEFUL for your kind support!

Congratulations❤️. Hope Norm starts to feel better soon. Always fun to see your collections. I bought my parents a big star burst clock in the 1960’ for Christmas. Had it for a long time but sold it at my garage sale when I moved in 1999. Never thinking it would be come so collectible. But one can’t keep everything.

Those giraffes crack me up. They're pretty and funny at the same time. Your fish and sea urchin wall is fabulous! I love how it turned out after you painted them. Since I asked you about how Norm paints things I have been painting things left and right and it has turned out beautifully. I have two chalk- ware birds that I purchased which had a bad paint job and so I'm about to paint those real soon. I just know they will look amazing.
Oh, and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY YOU TWO! Fifty- five years is really something to brag about. Truly a great marriage.❤❤
I love all the splatterware. I use to see this at the thrift stores in the 90's but didn't appreciate them as much as I do now. For some reason I thought my style and decor influences in my early 20's were "Victorian" probably because I subscribed to that magazine. Now my style is more modern as I buy things mainly from the 50's to the 80's as this is what makes me the happiest.😊

The golden wall fish and urchins are amazing. They look as though they came from a fancy ocean themed resort from that decade. I love the fish planters too. I always look forward to your tours. I love the yard scenes too. 🦆I adore water birds.

Love it Peggy looks so good, great combo of vibrancy. I do love those giraffe figurines. The metal star bursts or sea urchins look like air bubbles coming from the fish, I love what you did there. Looking forward to seeing what else you've done.

So nice! I love all the splatter glazed pieces! My mother used to do those. She had a kiln and she painted a lot. I wish I had gotten more of them but I was so used to seeing them that I neglected to get but a few. Well, I have to much stuff anyway. At the time I was more into glass than anything else.

I just love that deer picture! You have so many great collections and display them so beautifully. Those cute planters are so fun. Happy Anniversary to a wonderful, fun couple! Holes, holes everywhere. I have a wall like that too and every time I change the arrangement, I need to add another nail to make it satisfy my eye. I do not trust any other hangers for my cherished collections. Do hope Norm feels better soon. A Thanksgiving meal in your own backyard. It is raining and colder in Texas today. Fun time watching the animals.

The exact same thing happened to me. I didn’t have enough time to take down St Patrick’s Day Decor down to put up Easter! I don’t remember them being so close together in previous years. UGH!
