First of all, as an HVAC technician, we have to work on units that are live in order to troubleshoot the equipment operation. If it was such a safety hazard, it would not be a part of the handle manufactured by a reputable company. Don’t assume you know everything about every person‘s job. HVAC technicians have to work on live high voltage every single day and in order to keep the unit live you need to open up the equipment. So relax
The rule is you must need a "tool" to disable a tool interlock. This is to prevent unqualified individuals from opening live. Not all individuals. The door interlock bypass is there because live work for troubleshooting is needed sometimes.
What are some videos ideas you’d like me to make? Let me know in the comments below!
Top man!
Thank you ✌🏼

I somehow got the shaft on ABB OT switch turned 180 degrees and now the switch doesn't work. Not sure how that happened or what I can do to fix it.
