- Basically something on my mind that i wanted to do for quite some time. The idea is to play with same building restrictions AI has in the missions you encounter them.
In this case Sultan has no food and uses fear factor and money to make his peasants happy. This does NOT mean i have to play like the AI, as you can see i have no will for Sultan to live so i kill him [this will have to change very quickly since i cannot just do that to Caliph]
In case of starting units, this is tricky, for example Sultan cannot recruit Fire Throwers but he does get them, but its 50/50. Players get Spearmen and Archers as starting units and perhaps i SHOULD disband them, but i think its fair to use your starting units as long as you don't recruit them [unless the AI uses them]
In case of team games, i will allow myself to use whatever enemy team has [so if its Pig and Wolf i get to use whatever they BOTH have] However if I am allied to someone, then i cannot use their stuff [Lets say i am allied to Abbot againts Emir, i can use whatever Emir has, but i cannot use anything Abbot has unless there is an enemy Abbot]
I think this will do well to spice up some of more... 'boring' missions [which to be fair i think Trails are boring already as a whole but whatever] but it will also make me have to play bit differently [rather than only Bread and such]
Of course harder missions where there is more AI means more buildings and fewer restrictions but i still think it will be semi interesting.
