if you play the video at .25 speed and repeatedly pause and unpause as soon as the camera shifts to Dec after the windup, you can see that the knife does in fact enter the board, and does not pop out from inside the board. had to do it a few times but its pretty clear if you time the pauses right

He cheated he had a compartment inside of the board which shot out the knife with a card through it and when he put the glasses on you could see this black string which when he pretended to throw it it shot in between his arm and sleeve and he pressed a button for the compartment to shot and the knife and card came out. Also he already had a crease in the card that he ripped so he went across the crease to rip it which was a replica to the one in the compartment and to get the card he did a little trick in order to get the certain card he wanted. EXPOSED
I guess the fake knife is connected to the board with some type of tight invisible string. So he would never miss. Somehow the card connects with it. Prob a duplicate card. Any corner rip would look like it matches
