Since he arrived which would have been months ago now everyone has to pay for thier hotel now. Actually I walked past a hotel the other day known as a Covid Hotel to us kiwis right in the heart of Auckland city ( The Atrium). There are military in front of every hotel, and other guards monitoring everyone. They were wearing masks 😷 obviously and taking pre cautions for themselves but literally no one wears masks anymore unless on public transport which is now compulsory. Other than that - its very much like pre covid here in NZ. I almost forget Covid is out there in the world, unless I watch the news or walk past a hotel that is barricaded. Ps. I love America - and cannot wait to visit again soon 😍 once Covid is no longer. Praying for our world right now. And thank you for this great podcast. Really loved it. Here's to a better 2021 ❤

So which is it? Are New Zealanders diehard Trumptards who think he's God's gift or do they think that the US is a steaming cesspool that should be avoided at all costs? You're not very consistent here with your comments. It's almost as if you're just making things up in some pathetic attempt to troll people.
In case you're interested in the actual facts, the US is actually the fifth most popular destination for kiwis. The most popular travel destinations for kiwis are Europe/UK (27%), Asia (17%), Australia (16%), Pacific Islands (12%), and USA/Canada (11%), which is based on actual travel rather than mere desire. It's likely that the figures for people who _want_ to travel to the US are much higher, but actually getting there is rather inconvenient as, until AirNZ opened their Chicago flight right before COVID, the only direct flight to the US was to LA. So there are probably many more than 11% who would like to visit the US but don't because it's too expensive and/or inconvenient.
Maybe you should see if AirNZ has got a flight that can take you back to your bridge.

Jacinda is the best leader in the whole world right now - and the best one that New Zealand has ever had, for sure.
What she's had to deal with has been shocking and terrifying - and she's dealt with it every time.
She also made the greatest speech of the 21st century in the aftermath of the mosque shootings.
A prophetic speech that's going straight into the history books:
"For we ARE not immune to the viruses of hate ... we never have been. But we can be the nation that finds the cure."
Then came Covid-19. It didn't stand a chance against that. No chance whatsoever.
And now New Zealanders are enjoying themselves while everybody else suffers.
This New Year's Eve celeration was the same as it was last year - thousands gathering in the streets enjoying themselves.
The rest of the world - who all chose poorly when it came to their political leaders - deathly silence in the streets.
