- German musician Frank Dorittke played guitar in a German band called Imagine.
In 1991 he was touched by electronic music. Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Jean Michel Jarre were his favourites. He started combining guitar with electronic ( synthesizer ) equipment. He started composing beautiful music.
Polarstern is from his cd Dreamland. A very beautiful ambient piece of music.

True to your word Rob, another gem posted in 2008: A brilliant fusion of guitar and synthesiser as only Frank Dorittke can do it!
In this case, the music is even further enhanced by a fantastic video. I love it!

Another masterpiece from Frank Dorittke...I've been listening to electronic music for 45 years...this track is in the top ten of all time, along with the classics , My Ty She, Overchill, Good Old 4 On The Floor, Easy Listening, Eleven 2 Eleven and Friedemann Bach, by the teacher Klaus Schoulze... At the top of the list, however, 2 pieces by Frank... Lunaris part 03 (Shine On) (with so much respect to Floyd) and number one... the masterpiece Dreamland.. Thank you Frank...thank you for your magic...

Hello Bellerob! Please tell me where to download F. D. Project composition Polarstern you laid length ( 8.03 ) In the album Today & Yesterday (2009) another embodiment ( 8.45 ) ? This is a Remix or compilation V. A ? Sincerely Igor.
igor dikchus this is the same version as on the album. Just adjusted by me, that's why it is a bit shorter.
