    - updates -
    1 - i faced my fear of the diving board and touched the ground of 12 feet
    2 - i think i did better in practice, especially since it was in the morning (early practice sucks)
    3 - just feel more confident in my swimming in general
    4 - i haven’t practiced flip turns in a week and i never knew how to do it but today i did it perfect with no effort whatsoever
    5 - MY GOODNESS MY MOM FOUND MY MANIFESTATION PAPERS AND SHE WAS COOL AND EVEN SAID IT WAS A BRILLIANT IDEA EKDHFJHDHD
    6 - i swam a lap of breast (25) in 46 seconds!
    7 - i’m noticing some speed in my backstroke/breast/style
    8 - i’m so good at blocks
    9 - skipped yesterday but idc and i want food and also the meet was cancelled today (i luckily wasn’t in it but i have a meet on wend day and i’m so darn nervous
    10 - went to a pool party and lifted a 10 pound ball while swimming along with holding my breath
    11 - when we were doing a 50 free (yes very simplistic i know lol) i passed a super fast kid who was in the a meets and we have a meet tomorrow at 4:30 so i’m nervous because it’s our first one
    12 - the meets are today skskskskskkskskskskskkskskskskksksksksim so nervous
    13 - no cap, the coach let me go in the higher lanes and she said why because i was ready for harder challenge also we did a 150 meter freestyle
    14 - swim team is over! i’m so sad but i feel increased stamina in my swimming AND AND ANDDDDDDDDD i got 3rd place on my swim meet !!!!!
    15 - i can hold my breath for 13 meters ( pretty good ig bc i have asthma )

    16 - a girl in A meets (she looked maybe a year younger than me, still pretty old) said i was a good swimmer and i would get into Tri-County next year. also one of my friends got into Tri-County! i’m so happy for her
    17 - every time i jump into the pool i feel like an amazing swimming i’m not kidding

    I've been having major swimmer's block recently so i decided to start this up again.
    My PR right now is a 41 for 50F, but i'm aiming to get a 38, and i know i can do it.
    Listening every single night and morning.
    Day One, July 9th
    We did a lot of pace today. I think my flip turns are better as i've learned what i've done wrong. I need to work on my underwater kicks though.
    Day Two, July 10th
    Been using with Sunflower Positivity's olympic swimmer, and dropped 5 seconds on breaststroke which means i am very very close to qualify!
    During my 50 free, my first event I couldn't hear the take your marks so i swam anyway but I begged my coach for a second try and then i dropped 2 seconds, so that's how i dropped 2 seconds in 2 minutes 😮
    I'm hoping to qualify
    Day Five
    I dropped 3 seconds on freestyle which means i am at a 38. I also swam 1 second faster in breaststroke which means I may get an individual?? I am now at 48, and qualifying times is 45
    Day Seven
    I have been listening every single day!
    Day Eight
    My coach said my turns were perfect!! I am so nervous for tomorrow because I have a meet and if i swim well, I will be placed in a individual next meet, and I could qualify
    Tomorrow I am swimming breaststroke, I hope to swim a 46 and for free, i hope to swim a 36!
    Day Nine
    I had my meet today! I dropped like .30 seconds on free but i was not swimming very well that day, but i swam a 47!!
    Day Ten
    in two days, I am swimming an individual for breaststroke! This is my last chance to qualify! Also i got moved up to the B relay! Im so nervous because if i swim less than a 45.75 I will qualify but I will REALLY have to bring it but I believe!
    Day Twelve
    So, basically I did not qualify because we were swimming at an away pool, and I always swim faster at home. I am still grateful though because i improved a lot this season

    not me trying to get faster when my swim meet qualifiers are tomorrow-
    but fr i’m panicking i have to swim against my old team and hopefully i can beat my times~(⊕⌢⊕)~

      @@MNCC8 Awful lmao I came last but that's only because it was breaststroke and I didn't know I was going to be in that and i'm dead awful at breaststroke. Everything else went pretty well though

    I did a 50 free recently and my time was 58 seconds. Literally the next day, it reduced to 51
    Update- my 50 free time is now 43 seconds :)

      for a proper tongue posture, you should look for a mewing or maxilla sub. for tongue shape look for a teeth combo. those benefits are usually included

    Swim meat tonight and I’m in breast stroke and I rlly don’t want them to take me out of it and I have a freestyle relay so I’ll be here for awhile edit: I took 5 seconds off my breast stroke

    update - so i did pretty well at time trials, my dives were pretty good and i swam fast
    dry land has been very hard but swim is fun
    update - i haven’t been going to swim practice in a couple days bc of my throat but i’m doing pretty well, swam an IM with fins for fun lol
    update - i really hope i get to go to the A meet and compete free and back :)
    update - so i am going to the b meet it is in 2 hours also when i was swimming today i felt to fast
    update - so i swam pretty well at the meet i got first place but in order to make the a meet next week i have to drop 3 seconds so i will try to work on that i rlly wanna get into a meets ooooo
    update - i will make the a meet i have to omg my dives are really good actually i’m hoping to get into a relay or medley also i can’t sleep i had coffee today so i’m up watching swim videos anyways the b meet is next week on wednesday so i’m hoping to ask my coach to practice with the higher lanes but i’m so nervous to switch lanes but i’m like the lane leader and fastest person in my lane sooo
    ok so it’s the b meet today i gotta prove myself but i have to swim the 50 free because the event i wanted to do nobody was in and i’m doing backstroke I WILL DROP 5 SECONDS I WILL
