I have an 84 C10 since '97.... 6 motors later and 4 transmissions and hundreds of thousands of miles I still wouldn't trade it for 2 of the new POS chevy or ford trucks today. Maybe one day I'll get an old ford and figure out how to negotiate the distributor in the wrong place lol. Respect to the classics!

I have a 77 f150 with a swapped 429 Thunder Jet and I wanted to upgrade the distributor, coil and electronic module. I see you have an MSD set up on your 460. Which set up do you recommend for the 429? Thanks in advance.
Beautiful!! I see it has a front hitch. My 79 has one as well, but whoever put it on, did a hack job and welded it to the frame. What hitch do you have? I will need to get another one that fits proper. Great example and really like the color combo! Thanks for posting

ATK Short block bored .40 over from Summit Racing, Pro Comp Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM Camshaft, Comp Cams roller rockers, Edelbrock Victor intake manifold, Holley Sniper Stealth EFI, L&L Headers, Dual 3" exhaust with X pipe and Flowmaster 50 Series mufflers. Champion American Eagle 2 Core (1" thick cores) radiator, Derale dual 12" fan and shroud.

That's a1976 or 1977 truck nice though , I have a 1978 with a 460 warmed up to around 500 hp sure is awsome!

Windows aren’t electric, they’re air powered, custom, did all the work myself. Headlights are Truck Lite LED.

Tires are 315/75R16 on 16x10 wheels. Suspension is all aftermarket, I used Superduty leaf springs front and rear with leafs removed and then air bags

One amazing truck! What size lift, tires and rims did you use? That is a perfect stance. Im in the process of building a 78.

You are correct. Truck is a 1978, front grille is from a 1977.
