thank you for sharing this information. I have been crocheting for over 50 yrs and never knew there was a difference. I am new to amigurumi, never heard of it before and now I understand about the stitches. THANK YOU for not forgetting about us lefties. So many designers do. It can be frustrating. You are the best!

I love that it helps lefties! Anytime I learn something new, I always want to share it with others so that they can increase their tips and tricks with amigurumi. Thank you so much for commenting! ❤️

I'm so happy it's not only me who realised they've been doing something considered not traditional.
Thank you for your video and explanation. I always thought my stitches on regular crochet patterns looked kind of wrong because I'm left handed 😂

As a person who is dyslexic as well I've always done YU and never knew there was a difference!! My mom taught me when I was 16 and today I'm 28. All I did was mirror her plus I'm a lefty. I've always liked the way that I've done my crochet. But alsoni have had multiple people ask me to teach them. I sadly have had to decline due to me being a bad teacher and how wierd I crochet. I call my method upside down mirror 😅 love learning this new method this is very interesting 😊

My mind was blown when I finally figured it out! I mirror stuff, too! I’m a righty but also dyslexic so I always mirror stuff and kinda just glitch out. 😅 it’s always good to finally have a name for what you’re doing!

From a fellow dyslexic and left handed person I had so much trouble understanding the position of the yarn, I did end up getting a mix of stitches. I usually do a oy oy but for some amigurumi I don’t like how it looks. Im giving oy uy a shot because it’s less confusing for my brain 😫
      Thank you for the explanation!😊
