Car no longer meets the needs of urban mobility.
Traffic, high operating costs, parking difficulties, limited traffic areas prevent their daily use, even in the case of electric vehicles with low environmental impact.
The bicycle, on the other hand, is still a prerogative of a few, young, environmentally conscious users and becomes a limitation when one tries to combine everyday tasks (shopping, children to be taken to school, the office) with the lack of time and adverse weather conditions.
Indimob’s the perfect meeting point between a bicycle and a car, very similar to a small car in terms of usability and ease of use: practical like a bike, comfortable like a car is our slogan.
Design: an athletic and dynamic volume designed to make the most of the small size in terms of habitability and load capacity. Some quotations from famous cars that have made Italian car design great are recognizable.
Aerodynamics have also been developed in order to decrease drag. For the design, the most advanced 3D technologies of the car industry were used.
Construction in ultralight materials: carbon fiber for the bodywork and aluminum for the frame

There's a lot of projects to make a commuter velomobile like this Indimob. I think this is the first one I've seen that isn't stuck in development hell for trying to reinvent the wheel.

If our currency value ever recovers to the point the roughly €10,000 price tag isn't going to be more than AU$20,000, I'll seriously consider it. I really like the Indimob Coupé. It's kind of like the ELF and PEBL, except actually purchasable. I think the more upright profile of it makes it a lot more visible than the Podbike Frikar, and I'd feel safer riding this than I would the Frikar, given that Australia is infested with American pick-up trucks.
The other similar vehicle I've been keeping an eye on is the Pedilio, but it seems Indimob is a much better prepared company. Like you're here, ready to go, ready to take orders right now.

Pojazd bardzo ciekawy, lepszy od roweru, bo zapewnia ochronę przed zmiennymi warunkami atmosferycznymi. Jednakże widzę kilka problemów: 1 zimą i przy niskich temperaturch będzie się w środku parować, jeśli będzie zamknięty, a to oznacza, brak widoczności, 2 o ile jazda ścieżką rowerową nie stanowi problemu, tak gdy jej zabraknie, pojawia się spory problem, jadąc ulicą będzie nas trudniej ominąć niż zwykłego rowerzystę a to oznacza frustrację kierowców aut, natomiast gdy będziemy jechać chodnikiem, to przy pokonaniu drogi jest problem po przejściu dla pieszych jeździć nie wolno, więc co, jadąc tym pojazdem mamy wychodzić co chwilę aby go przeprowadzić, to jest bez sensu, choćby w Polsce nie wolno również jeździć po chodniku. Generalnie sam pojazd, bardzo ciekawy, tylko problemem jest brak odpowiedniej infrastruktury w większości krajów.

Thanks for your comment: it gives us the chance to clarify more about some vehicle features.
1 - The windshield doesn’t steamed up because the vehicle is open on the lower side.
2 - The lower side has been designed to avoid the water to get into the cabin via the front spoiler
3 - The vehicle is 87 cm wide so it’s only 20cm wider than a normal bike. You can definetely use it everywhere being safer because it’s self standing and much more visible than a normal bike.
4 - About car drivers frustration: we see that 30km/h traffic zonea are flourishing everywhere in Europe so cars and bikes will have to ride at the same speed with the difference that you would have the freedom to in limited traffic zones.
