Saab 9-5 Sludge blown Rod bearing

I take a Saab 9-5 engine oil pan off to find debris, sludge and bearing material at bottom of pan. The engine made NO noise at idle and low rpm. At 2200 - 2500rpm a slight rattle would be heard. Almost sounded like a timing chain rattle but I found a bad rod bearing instead.

I have exactly the same rod bearing issue. How did you replace? Where did you order it from ? What’s the name of this part? Thanks!!

wow, that is one dirty engine. A bad Bearing, Bummer. Fix it and get the wagon back on the road
