First one is a replica of a German WW2 Fallschirmjäger ( Paratrooper ) knife, pretty cool! :)
My Grandfather was in WW2 in the german Air Force (Luftwaffe) and used this awesome knife all his Life!

For the jaeger A bit of oil would help:) it’s maybe because in most countries front openers with a spring r forbidden.
I really like CRKT knives. Kiss knife, and Proboke. But the leatherman Free K4 knife has to be the best looking knife I’ve had. I love the girth of the backbone in the Free K4 then it’s very easily sharpened and has good edge retention. The CRKT kiss knife and Provoke has a downwards knife that I love to use when making precision cuts. Either way great video.

German Paratroopers used this wooden version in ww2 after that there was a green 80s nato version of the Fallmesser/Gravityknife. The spike on it its called Marlspieker its to open a node.

You missed the marlinspike on that fallschirmjager knife. Usually associated with sailors, but extremely useful to anyone who will be working with ropes.

Nice. German Fallmesser. Was in use in similiar variant in the german army until 2017. It‘s prohibited by law for civilian ownership in germany.
