You have to buffer coco coir with cal mag otherwise it will be too heavy in salts for your plants.

hello do you feed your orchids? and if so how much/how often?

I do! I would recommend getting fertilizer made specifically for orchids, then following the directions on the bottle. I feed mine once a month, or you can do very very light doses every week
