That was a solid save. Most people would lose it after hitting the grass.
If youve got no idea shut up
@Montoya Selbsterkenntnis like u ?
@Montoya Selbsterkenntnis bet u never driven a real car lol
tricky left, got me many times in GTS :) you need break first and pass it with acceleration
@Montoya Selbsterkenntnis than you 🤣
Brilliant save! love the way you anticipated the grip difference between the grass and tarmac and counter steered accordingly.
he released the counter steer in the right moment. very well done.
Very nice save! This particular turn is very tricky. Never raced in the Ring ( even though I would love to) but through all thw simulators ive played it on, I always brake slightly before the peak of the small hill it makes. It's expected at such speeds and at such a car with not so much downforce to oversteer. Keep racing safely, have fun with this awesome car you have there and keep posting vids!
also with this car you can go full throttle. brake after the peak.
Normally I go full throttle on sims never raced in Nurburgring but if you let off the inertia will provoke that kind of oversteer
You need to keep on the gas over the hill, lifting will induce this oversteer as rear wheels lose traction
@@alaxwayne4107 I also would play it safe and break before the peak and than start accelerating before I turn it because then it wont have any liftoff oversteer
maybe if this car had more downforce in the back this should not have happened?
a like for the co-driver for staying calm 💯
She was 💩 💩 💩
If she started to panic, he probably would've crashed. Many times, in tricky situations, the worst thing isn't even the situation itself, it's the passengers starting to yell at you while you're trying to concentrate, like if they could do anything but annoy and distract you. I wish my mom behaved like this whenever i have to suddenly brake because someone pulled in front of me
It’s important NOT to lift in this particular corner. When over the hill, break short and hard and when letting go of the brakes hit for the apex in a smooth line! Just before hitting apex you gently pushing more throttle to let the car pull you out of the corner! I’m glad you guys didn’t crash!!👍🏼 nice save!
360p in 2022. Thank you dude!!!
Well done for not stacking it chap. I’m sure your passenger was pleased.
Problem is:
You have to stay on the throttle. Otherwise like in this case your rear is getting light and you go into a drift.
But nice safe 💪
that one corner is kinda difficult
Bro should have break before the turn ! That way he would have avoided the weight transfer of the lift off !!! Oversteer was inevitable otherwise
@Luca H Yes, your are right. He wasn't to fast. It was a lack of confidence to "pull" the car straight by applying throttle at the apex.
It’s actually the opposite, every good racer knows you let off and don’t apply any input. Don’t apply brakes and don’t apply throttle. If he stayed on the gas the car would have just shot itself in any direction once it gained traction which would have made things a lot worse.
@@kylefultz Please google "lift-off oversteer" and become a better racer! No, sorry, I meant commentator!
Good save ! most importantly did not panic and just thought his way through everything and back on the bitumen.🇦🇺
this curve causes many accidents (oversteer)
Nice save 👍
Nice save regardless of why you needed to, next lap a part of your body will tell you "ya this is THAT turn"
Nice save tho. People very often let it oversteer too much and then countersteer like hell to finish in the opposite side rails
love your reaction leaving tarmac.. what a save
got anymore of those pixels?
Yea this corner is scary without downforce! I'm not driving for real yet because no money yet in sim racing i learned to REALLY respect that corner when racing normal street car's.
Hats off that was a skilful save 👌🏾
Hope those seats are easy to wipe clean...
Same for their underwear 😂
Pants reporting code Brown
1+ perfect save! well done, dude🤙👍
"Guck mal Schatz, ich bin voll der Rennfahrer!"
...very, very "PRO"-skills and reaction!!!
I guess this is a Seat Cupra, very fast car indeed, nice save, at one point I thought he was going to hit the barrier.
Glad you were OK man 🙏🏼👍🏻
I was watching this video like “ he is doing a great job… ahh nice cornering there… he hit the apex nicely… wow wtf! Nice positioning in the wheel” in fact this lata point is what saved the crash… that’s why I’d always important to have the right grip on the wheel
Some corners can be super tricky and IMPOSSIBLE to read correctly on first pass. This is one of them. Corner is lower on outer side and has a little bump right at the apex after a hill… you really need to know the physics of your car in that case.
Didnt think a Leon could go that fast!
Well its a Cupra so its not normal Leon
Staying on the throttle would have easily prevented the incident. Fast FWD-driver manage to always be able to keep the car from oversteering at the apex by applying throttle shortly before the car oversteers. I've been racing FWD-Cars since i was 14 years in an ADAC-Racing-Cup and i know that it's not easy but maybe he reads this and it helps him and other FWD guys to learn more about the physics of their cars :)
Good job ESP!
Nice wirkt from the Driver !
Great save resulting in a "mild" off. Blimey!
wait amg crashed the same spot but he turned wheel to the right side full but this is how save should work
the AMG is only rwd thats why. The Cupra is AWD
But i think good driver will get that corner
Super save! At this turn when you drive fast and hit that point of turn is good to keep ALWAYS some gas, so the car will not try to spin, but if you hit brake or have no torque car may spic. I saw last time some AMG GTR crash here same way because he doesn't had torque. There is video from AMG crash with G meter and you can see there what I'm saying =D
Respekt das du die Karre abgefangen hast.
In a fwd car it's very Dangerous to countersteer much because when the car wants to turn in the other direction it goes hella fast
actually, rwd snap countersteer is just as bad if you don't balance weight transfer with throttle in a split second reaction
Scary AF. Cold tyres maybe too? As well as lift off on that point? Good save
It looks like he was going a bit too fast and lifted too late while starting to turn. I've never raced there irl, but on many realistic games like Project CARS 2, Assetto and GT7, most of the times I've either oversteered or crashed there were because of lift off oversteer. That turn is fast, but easy to mess up if you go a bit too fast. I don't know irl, but atleast in these games, the ideal speed with most road cars with decent tires is around 200km/h or just below, depending on the car. Whenever i get the chance to drive this track irl, that will be the corner I'll be the most careful on, specially since you have to brake hard right after that long turn
Also, one thing that always stays in my mind is if there's oil on the track, which has caused many crashes. You ll only find out when it's too late or someone tests it before you
What a save…crazy Man!
Why is this video in 360p?
Poo came out!!!! Serieusly nice save bravo. How can you remain that calm?
Puede ser por el 4drive?
Driver skills or effective ESP?
Many loose it just over the hump just on the corner, slow down before it and get it settled, I mean you literally feel the car get light in the rear, and if this was the first time then it was too fast
Super save! Were the electronics off?
yeah, all off!
🔥🔥🔥
Super sauvetage c'était chaud la !! ✌️
Was it the lift-off oversteer that caused this?
It always does.
I think this is the same corner as this: ua-cam.com/video/g4_i-yHoGAo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PeteDeLaMare 'AMG GTR Nurburgring Crash, the prequel'. You saved it. This guy didnt!! Trashed his AMG GTR - at a scary speed. Glad you're ok. Looks an evil corner.
How the hell did he managed to save that? 😳
Flippin' Schwedenkreuz man, I think it's the scariest corner there is. I understand the Nordschleife was made as a test-track but the way that corner was *designed* to make people crash at 150+ kph holy cow. Oh you're doing 200? Let me give you a gentle corner to the left and a rise in the road to make it nice and grippy on turn in. What's that? Your suspension is heavily loaded on the right hand side? Allow me to completely drop away removing half your grip, enjoy the ride!
Incredible save 😱🙏✌👍
Bravo Good rescue ! But quality video 360p in 2022 is a shame :) ;)
It’s from 2017.
@@alexandermenck6609 :) in 2017 it's the same thing, no excuses, hd 1080p or 720p have been available on UA-cam for 13 years already... (2008-2009)
@@alexandermenck6609 the video its from the last summer, but the camera shows 2017 date(chinese camera) even so i have the video in 1080 but dont now why upload in 360.
"huch"... gut gesagt xD
Thank you IA …… first left steering should send you to the wall without…
Good save but there was a lot of luck involved here.
Esp off ?
The corner that if you lift the throttle you drift
Level expert👍🏼
Well done, very good save!
Yeah huge save, but 200kph is too much for that car and maybe not only, of course depends by tyres on
Very good. Increase downforce.
It always freaks me out when i see people driving on the ring in automatic mode, rather than controlling their own gearing..
Yooo what a save 🔥
Same spot as the AMG GTR ... wow nice save
a lot of drivers crash there but all of them had rwd the Cupra has AWD
Very good stress control 👍
one day all the drivers around the ring will learn not to lift in this corner. maybe
What a save!!
Was ESP on/off?
All off
Ah yes. Good old Schwedenkreuz.
For all the "pro" racers over here...He might have been flat out... the speed was just too much for car/tire combo though and lost grip.
Allrad und Semi Sliks= Rettung möglich!
Gut gemacht 🤟👌
never lift on the left handed cornor at schwedenkreuz, exactly that is what happens then
What a nice save
Must have been those cool gloves.
Welllll done. Just. Really happy for you
huge save
Bien joué, belle conduite
Wuh indeed there is something weird few cars had problem there
Well held
Amazing save!
Nice save!!
very well done!
never choose that inside line there.
Nice save!
Skill!
Safer to enter this corner from the left side of the circuit.
emotional damage
Are you serious? This Is Just Seat! Not an Audi.
Awesome save 🏆

Wow. Indeed really nice save.
