I’ve made this and it’s a huge hit every time! The last time I made it, I added spicy peppers too. Chili peppers, banana peppers, jalapeños, whatever you have. It added a kick and it was delicious! 👍
You aught to try to make the hot onion dip. I forgot what it's actual name is. But it's awesome. It has Gruyere cheese and a ton of sautéed onions in it and is served hot. It obviously has other ingredients, but my memory isn't what it used to be. I'll know the recipe when I see it though. I haven't had it in years! But can't find what I'm looking for yet.

Mr. Make It Happen, Matt, your creole cornbread recipe. i use Martha White self rising buttermilk corn meal mix only. when i do basic corn bread i preheat the oven to 425 and put a 1/4 cup of bacon grease in a 10 inch cast iron skillet, and put in the oven to preheat and melt the grease. when the skillet is HOT and grease is melted, i pout some in the mixture, and mix well. then pour into the HOT skillet. you can hear it sizzle, frying to start with. smooth out the top, you can see it is bubbling around the edges. pop back in the oven at 425 for 20-25 min, 23 is just right for my oven. this makes a golden brown top and a toasted crispy bottom and sides. i would like your opinion, please. and anyone else. thanks. and btw, you didn't give a baking time in the video i went to AB's but he used a 10 inch skillet, and times will be a little different.💗
