Dude!! I can already tell that this is going to be up there with top animations for Omori! I had to come back on my phone instead of switch so I could like and subscribe 😂❤❤
@@WeiRd0_M3L0NOk so I'll try to answer this as best as I can and then answer more in depth in the video- So for the hair, I sorta animated it by dividing them all into chunk, and depending on the type of wind direction(sometimes the hair is swaying in one direction, other times it's just blowing out from the face in all directions) the hair chunks will kind of wiggle like worms do. I sketched out the animations a lot of times before shading them, so figuring out how it moves is the first step to making it look good! As for the colours, I actually pick a certain vibe I want the scene to feel like. In headspace portions, there's no strict palette, just colourful drawings. In whitespace I shaded with more grayish purple, in Sunny's house I used a dark blue, and in Faraway town I used a warm orange. In the Meteor Shower scene, I used cyan, pink, and purple because i really wanted this scene to pop and look magical. So when you want to colour your art, just think of the vibe you want to portray and associate some colours to that feeling!

STTOOOPPP THIS IS SO GOOD I love the meteor shower scene ( 2:16 ) the way headspace Basil gave Omori the key just hit, it’s like Sunny’s subconscious knew that Basil wants to help Sunny no matter what, it makes sense considering the incident
Yess you get it! In all the times I listened to this song, I visualised that part the most. Like it didn't matter if i messed up the other parts, this one has to look the best! Basil giving the key and getting all bloody sort of represented the sequence in blackspace, so you're correct! Im glad I was able to convey the emotions well!!

Anyone else notice that the animation follows the true route of the game??? It starts out and ends and progresses like the actual game does (not hikkikomori route ofc) its just so much little details that make this better.

4:02 The quotes being in the background? Oh my gosh 😭❤️🩹 I want to be emotional about Omori because I truly do love it, yet for some reason I’m not as emotional as I usually am? I know with Undertale and other media I’ve cried and it’s physically hurt before, but Omori? I just kinda feel- numb? Not in a bad way, it just feels wrong to not be balling crying at everything because I recently just finished watching my first play through (can’t afford the game atm) of the Sunny route. That's very valid! I think there are just some things that do mean a lot to us but we can't feel the way we think we're supposed to feel. I remember my appreciation for Omori only really sinking in a few weeks after I finished watching a playthrough of it. Even if it doesn't come, that's ok! Everyone feels differently about everything, and I know there are some Omori fans who felt more numb than emotional about the game

I also adore the meteor shower part, the way Basil seems so willing to give everything just to give the key to Omori, and Omori's expression is just so good and beautiful and so full of meaning, it's amazing. It might seem hard at first, but I actually took a lot of shortcuts in making this! Realistically, there'd be things we imagine that just we just can't express properly. There's nothing wrong with it, instead we can just adjust it more and more so that it fits our capability but we're still satisfied with it!

I want to be emotional about Omori because I truly do love it, yet for some reason I’m not as emotional as I usually am? I know with Undertale and other media I’ve cried and it’s physically hurt before, but Omori? I just kinda feel- numb? Not in a bad way, it just feels wrong to not be balling crying at everything because I recently just finished watching my first play through (can’t afford the game atm) of the Sunny route. Thank you for this gorgeous animation! It portrays the world and characters of Omori wonderfully
That's very valid! I think there are just some things that do mean a lot to us but we can't feel the way we think we're supposed to feel. I remember my appreciation for Omori only really sinking in a few weeks after I finished watching a playthrough of it. Even if it doesn't come, that's ok! Everyone feels differently about everything, and I know there are some Omori fans who felt more numb than emotional about the game

First of all, I LOVE this song, i never thought it could fit with Omori so well, like, what?? I also adore the meteor shower part, the way Basil seems so willing to give everything just to give the key to Omori, and Omori's expression is just so good and beautiful and so full of meaning, it's amazing.
Your art style, line art, colouring, everything is so beautiful and wonderful. You are able to see the love that was put in every single frame. This is truly a piece of art. I love it.

It might seem hard at first, but I actually took a lot of shortcuts in making this! Realistically, there'd be things we imagine that just we just can't express properly. There's nothing wrong with it, instead we can just adjust it more and more so that it fits our capability but we're still satisfied with it!
